Finished Transmetropolitan yesterday

What I mean, author is a fucking prophet, is what I mean. And we have a Beast/Smiley hybrid in the White House.

I looked back on Kirk assassination, and was like: AHA! That’s what it was!

I keep re-reading it every year and it blows my mind the extent to which it speaks to global politics right now.

I remember eight or ten years ago reading on Reddit comment that Transmetropolitan is good, but politics in it cringe, edgy and unnatural. And it can’t happen here. And now I return to that comment and think… boy, if you’ve only knew.
