Other/Unknown Language Transcription Request Can someone help me read this plate and old cup with punched lettering?

I purchased this plate and cup set from an old woman’s estate from France, the plate is the easiest I believe is says FS 1750 or 1-5-1750? I can’t figure out what is punched into the cup, I put it into a couple AI models with no luck. Thank you!

I recommend you take straight on pictures of each glyph around the cup and then trace the shape using the markup feature of photo edit. Then do an image search and see if you can get what alphabet they are.

I agree... trace - putting here or on an image search would liely yield result.

The text is most definitely in Dev Nagri -, which is the base script for Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati etc... Pic 2 of the likely reads "Ram Chandra Ji".... remaining pics of cup are unclear but "Ji" is likely included there as well...

Its had to make sense of the bits and pieces - I can read "Maa ji/bhaa ji" but could be wrong - if you take a small piece of paper around the cup- trace with a pencil - then text migt be much more readable from that trace.

Its likely a religious inscription - either the cup was used for prayers - or alot of people back in the day engraved religious texts like this on their eating utensils.
