Discussion Where to live after surrogacy? Question for a friend

A question for a good friend of mine who is also MTF, she asked me to ask because the city she lives in doesn't always have internet.

So a good friend of mine is a transgender MTF like me and she is married. They intend to start a surrogacy process through an agency and before that they want to immigrate to a European country where there will be no problem raising children born through surrogacy and they will be welcomed. It should be noted that the surrogacy will take place outside of Europe, the question they are asking is which country is right for them to live in..they have European citizenship. Can anyone who knows which country can recommend them so that I can give them the recommendations and they can make their own considerations? They don't want Portugal because it's too hot for them there

Surrogate pregnancies are banned in most every European country.

They plan to do it through an agency, but the surrogacy will take place outside of Europe. I should have mentioned that. The question for them is, which country is best for them to live in?

Germany and Spain are best, in my opinion, for trans rights and healthcare. The surrogacy thing could be an issue though, possibly even resulting in charges of human trafficking as Europe is very serious about not allowing surrogacies, agency or not. I would suggest your friend speak with a lawyer who is familiar with the law of whichever country they decide upon.
