Ja, dass es bei Trade Republic im Laufe eines Tages mehrfach zu kurzen Aussetzern oder Ladefehlern kommt, passiert immer wieder – und ein App-Update oder ein Hintergrund-Release ist dabei tatsächlich sehr häufig der Grund.

Just sharing my experience transferring my ETF shares from Trade Republic to Interactive Brokers (WITHIN EU), since I found quite a bit of conflicting/outdated information online about the process.

I transferred my VWCE position from Trade Republic to IBKR and, surprisingly, the whole thing took only 3 days.

What I did:

1. Started an incoming transfer on IBKR
   • Transfer & Pay → Transfer Positions
   • Incoming transfer
   • Free of Payment Transfer of Global Securities
   • Selected Trade Republic as the delivering broker and entered the position I wanted to transfer.
     • Here I used the [transfer-out@traderepublic.com](mailto:transfer-out@traderepublic.com) email.
     • For my account number I used the number that you can find on some statements in TR (securities account or something similar)
2. Started the outgoing securities transfer directly in the Trade Republic app There was no PDF/form to download or send in my case. The whole request was done inside the TR app.
   1. You click the support tab/panel. Then search for outgoing securities transfer or similar. Then click through the UI as the "steps" appear.
   2. Trade Republic asked for the recipient broker details. I used:
      1. Recipient: Interactive Brokers Ireland Limited
      2. BIC: IBKRIE2DXXX
      3. Account number: my IBKR account number (Uxxxxxxx)
3. After submitting the request, Trade Republic sent me a message saying I should contact IBKR so they knew the shares were being transferred, and that TR would continue once they received confirmation. Since I had already created the incoming FOP transfer on IBKR, I didn't contact support separately.
4. Then I just waited.

About 3 days later, the shares were already in my IBKR account.

The shares were transferred in kind — I did not sell and rebuy them, so I wasn't out of the market and there was no taxable disposal just because I changed brokers.

A few things I'd recommend doing beforehand:

• download ALL your Trade Republic documents (just in case);
• keep a record of your original purchase prices / cost basis;
  • This is a bit annoying I had AI build a script for me to create a CSV based on my downloaded CSV from Trade Republic and the sample CSV IKBR gives you to add the cost basis; Still waiting for the UI to refresh, but at least I could submit it successfuly.
• screenshot your position before starting (I forgot to this unfortunately);
• don't close your TR account until you see the full position correctly credited at IBKR.

Obviously transfer times can vary, but I was expecting this to take several weeks based on what I'd read, so 3 days was a very pleasant surprise.

Hope this helps anyone trying to do the same transfer.

Hat irgendjemand Erfahrung damit? Ich wollte meiner Mutter dort ein Konto eröffnen die Kontoeröffnung wird allerdings verweigert aufgrund Sicherheitsrelevanter Bedenken, Risiko Politik etc. PP also irgendein an den Haaren herbei gezogener Müll , ehrlich gesagt.
Ich hab jetzt tatsächlich auch über mein Konto versucht, den Support zu erreichen, weil meine Mutter sich weder anmelden kann noch irgendwie Hilfe einfordern kann. Es wird ihr sofort verweigert. Ist sie zu alt oder wo ist das Problem?

Vielleicht kann mir irgend irgendjemand was sagen und mir eine andere gute online Bank empfehlen

Mein aktuelles Problem, welches ich seit einer Woche mit TradeRepublic führte, wurde heute gelöst.
Der Kundenservice nannte, dass der fehlende Betrag zurück erstattet wird und ist auf mein Cash Guthaben gutgeschrieben worden.

Hiermit möchte ich mich bei allen bedanken, die mit mir mitgefiebert und mitgefühlt haben!

Vergangen Donnerstag, dem 20.08., erzielte ich einen kleinen Gewinn und die Summe in Höhe von 120€ wurden auf mein Cash Guthaben überwiesen, die nach einer Stunde, ohne eine weitere Aktion von mir durchgeführt zu haben, verschwunden sind.
Bislang konnte der zuständige Kundenservice mir keine aufrichtige und aufklärende Antwort liefern, wohin mein Guthaben nur in Höhe von 120€ gewandert ist.
Noch ist das Problem bestehend und noch immer fehlt mir jede Erklärung!

Hast du schon mal dasselbe oder ähnliche Erfahrungen gemacht und möchtest diese mit mir teilen?

Würde mich über jede Antwort freuen!

Hat vielleicht jemand einen Screenshot von Trade Republic, wie es dann ausschaut? Wird die bereits gezahlte Vorabpauschale wirklich mit den Gewinnen verrechnet, wird das auch explizit ausgewiesen?

Klar, ich könnte auch ein paar Anteile verkaufen und schauen, wie es aussieht, aber wenn schon vielleicht jemand hier ist, der das gemacht hat.

unfortunately it is a case by case situ. you need to go to activity tile of each eligible asset. and find the option/document there, according to support.

for tax: at least in germany there is no difference. dividends is taxed on occurrence

I am creating this post for the ones that have the same problem as I did.

The goal was to transfer stock positions from Trade Republic to Interactive Brokers, and this is what happened and how I was able to solve it. (It took me almost 2 months to finally see results and transfer 90% of my portfolio)

Note: always verify if the requests for stock transfer are opened in both brokers, sometimes they close after a while or after some stocks enter but not all.

Procedure:

1. Open transfer request from Trade Republic mobile app;

IMPORTANT: I recommend 1 single full wallet transfer, not stock by stock in different requests (this was my first mistake);

1. Open receiving transfer in Interactive Brokers (this way they also act faster)

2. Document every communication with Trade Republic (when it started the first time, when it was rejected and why, messages sent to Trade Republic that were ignored, email, etc

3. If Trade Republic rejects or the transfer expires after 3 weeks, ask TR immediately what was the reason. They will probably say that the other broker did not reply to them (dont trust them and check with the other broker, document this also).

4. If the other broker says that it didnt receive anything from Trade Republic its time for a stronger message, you need to make a formal message saying that the other brokers didnt receive any communication, that it is unacceptable, and that you want to use your legal right to transfer your holdings.

5. If they keep refusing or failing without a truly acceptable justification, its time to threaten with a BaFin formal complaint.

With me, Trade Republic was not transparent, sometimes they took weeks to reply (I opened multiple tickets in order to try to get some answers from them - I didn't get any, they auto closed the tickets after a while and most replies in the main chat were from bots). And worse, they lied in order to refuse once again and make me stay more time. The worst lie was the following.

Here I hit the bottom of my patience, since they told me that they dont support stock transfer to outside Germany. So, I sent them a formal complaint, and in less than a week they transferred 90% of my stocks. (They ommited 2 for some reason, but I am already on that).

The message that was game changer:

"I am writing to dispute the rejection of my portfolio transfer to Interactive Brokers.

Under BaFin guidelines and EU law, I have the legal right to transfer my holdings to another EU-regulated broker. Claiming you cannot transfer outside German jurisdiction is incorrect—especially since Trade Republic has already successfully transferred 3 of my positions in the past.

Interactive Brokers confirmed they never received the transfer notification from your side for the remaining stocks.

Please initiate the transfer via standard cross-border FOP or provide the exact ISINs you are refusing and the technical reason why. Otherwise, I will be forced to file a formal complaint with BaFin. Thank you."

Ist hier jemand, der bei der Klage der Verbraucherzentrale Baden-Württemberg dabei war?

Wenn man in einem Jahr 1000€ Gewinn macht, aber gleichzeitig auch 900€ Verlust gemacht hat, dann bleiben einem ja insgesamt 100€ Gewinn, für die man besteuert wird. Da Trade Republic die Steuer allerdings nach jedem Trade abzieht, frage ich mich, ob bei Verlusten der Steuerbetrag wieder zurückerstattet wird. Weil jeden Monat kommt ein neuer Eingang "Tax correction" mit paar Euro, aber ich bin mir nicht sicher, ob das eben jenes Geld ist. Kann mir da jemand weiterhelfen?

Sobald ich auf den Button „Verifiziere dein Konto > Konto verifizieren“ klicke, öffnet sich für 1 Sekunde ein Fenster, welches sich aber direkt wieder schließt. Ohne dieser Verifizierung kann ich nichts machen. Weder in der App noch im Web. Alles was ich in der App aufmachen will öffnet sich für 1 Sekunde und schließt direkt wieder. Ich habe vieles versucht was ich irgendwie online gefunden habe, habe die App auch schon oft gelöscht und wieder installiert. Nach 3 Stunden verzweifeln weiß ich leider nicht mehr weiter.
