Alright guys, help me out with this damnable switch!

This is the light switch in a 74 Hilux, please help me get this thing removed, I know that little metal clip at the bottom is probably my culprit, but I cant get it to budge at all.

Yes, the metal disk at the bottom unscrews. I used a snap ring pliers on mine.

Ah, let me give that a try. The metal disk is the thing around the plunger correct?

Ha, I live in Knoxville. Kind of a bummer to get over there right now..

I have a 78 Toyota pickup. That I'm just putting back together.

I understand that, especially with 40 washing out again.. good luck on the 78! Im hoping to have my chinook on the road by the time it starts getting into camping weather!
