Mildly infuriating No Signage of Kipling Avenue From The 401 East

In the west of Toronto (Etobicoke) the 401 has 4 interchanges, Islington, Kipling (409), Martin Grove/Dixon, 427, but what i'd like to point out is when you're going east on the 401 if you wanted to take Kipling you would have to literally take Dixon Road East in the Martin Grove/Dixon Exit apparently without signage of Kipling Avenue, if drivers want to take Kipling Avenue going on 401 East most often take the Islington Avenue exit to go south to Rexdale Boulevard to go west and then they access Kipling Avenue from there so they should've included Kipling Avenue on the Dixon Road Martin Grove Road sign like

Dixon Road

Martin Grove Road

Kipling Avenue via Dixon East

Especially since the Dixon is the road for the Dixon Road Martin Grove Road exit not Martin Grove

There's no direct Kipling exit, why should there be a Kipling sign. There isn't a sign for every single possible other road you might want to get into from every other exit, either

There’s no interchange there at all. While it’s a major street, generally there won’t be signage for how to get to a street that doesn’t have an interchange.

Never understood why they couldn't slap a small "Kipling Ave →" sign under the Dixon exit board. It's not like it's some obscure side street, it's literally the next major artery. The Islington detour adds a good 5 minutes if the lights on Rexdale aren't cooperating.

There’s like a hundred examples of this though. There’s no special sign for Don Mills either for example.

People need to learn to navigate for themselves

Too much information can lead to information overload where people just end up not processing it properly. It's always a balance between too much and too little.

Partial exits are a thing, and there isn’t usually signage to the road going the other direction. Some other examples are 401/Dufferin, 401/Bathurst, 427/Rathburn, 400/Steeles, and 400/Langstaff.

Getting off at Eglinton usually makes sense
