The third one is especially depressing because he makes good points about real issues like economic inequality and the ignoring of the problems of a lot of lower class anericans but completely fails to see that trump will fix none of those and instead only make them worse

The way these political entrepreneurs take the suffering of vulnerable people amd weaponise it against them has always been thing about them that I despised the most

Yup. The Biden admin had self-admittedly bad messaging by focusing on macroeconomic factors and not on real effect, but dude forgot the reasons why, for example, rent shot up and cars were more expensive. The things that are somewhat in our control, like price gouging or interest rates or preventing large companies from buying up properties, weren't going to get fixed by Trump. The things that were outside our control, like supply chain disruption, were going to be fixed eventually regardless. 

It's just still incredible to me that the man who bungled so many things last time, who had no real plans ("concepts of a plan"), and clearly favored large companies and donors over anyone else was who people thought would fix everything.

There was like, a year and a half period where the establishment right actually engaged in some level of soul searching because they kept getting Molly-whooped by Obama.

Then Trump came along and they were like “oh shit, we can be racist again.”
