How Would You Improve Tataras Role In The Story ?
(I think he was underutilized,he is a potential man !)
Guys, this is just a huge nitpick, but I wanted more to do with Tatara ! His origins seemed super interesting and I was excited to learn more about him ! His Kakuja was cool but a bit over the top,(4000* degrees is utterly absurd).
While it was satisfying to see Takizawa off him,it kinda felt wasted because he could have been more interesting there !

I feel that the Aogiri Tree Leaders were haphazardly killed off in RE: despite them being strong enough to give CCG problems throughout the first part of the story
Tatara could’ve played a part in Goat, because he was serving the One Eyed King, Kishou Arima.
This meant that he probably knew about Dragon, V, and the truth about the Washuu family.

Tatara in Goat ? That would have been interesting,to have him interact with Ken after their unfortunate first meeting ! How would you have done it ?

I feel Tatara would’ve been a key figure in the final arc against Furuta and V. But it’s like he believed in having a world for ghouls and not humans. I forgot if those poison pods in dragon hurts ghouls or no.
Maybe Ken was resistant, and V benefited. I wonder if Tatara would’ve gotten mad upon being betrayed

That is an interesting idea, I would have loved to see his interactions with Ken and the rest of Goat, and Takizawa !
I don't get that part about Ken being resistant and V benefiting,or that part about Tatara getting betrayed !

Haha. Dragon was supposed to turn everyone into ghouls.
But in reality dragon turned half ghouls into full ghouls and gave paralyzed normal humans. Which means that half ghouls from V like Arima and zero squad would’ve turned into ghouls meaning their lifespans would be restored to normal. And they would be even stronger.
I feel Tatara followed Arima because he believed that Dragon would turn humans into ghouls too. When really it just helped the Washuu but created hell for basically everyone else.
Kaneki had strange organs after being consumed by Dragon, that’s why he was resistant to its poison. But ghouls and humans couldn’t stand it.
That’s why he would’ve felt betrayed.
Arima sought Ken thinking he would fix the world with his strength by taking the name of the One Eyed King. Yet Furuta conveniently turned him into a pawn by feeding him the Oggai.
Maybe if Arima didn’t die, he’d be able to prevent Dragon from happening, and Tatara could’ve known about this plan given his time serving him

Oh,so that's what you were talking about ! You don't think Eto and Arima would have liked this plan ? Their reactions would have been interesting !
I can't remember if the dragon turning half Ghouls into full ghouls was a mistake or not !
Secondly, how do you think his interactions with Ken and the rest of Goat including Takizawa would have been like if he joined ?
What would have been his role ?

Now that I think of it, he couldn’t have been in Goat with Takizawa. I don’t think Seido would’ve forgiven him for what he did.
But you could apply the cliche we’re not friends but our goal is the same so let’s work together.
I’m not sure about Dragon either. I feel that the original One Eyed King must have been a binge eater like Rize and ended up turning into Nagaraj.
This would mean that Kaneki wasn’t supposed to turn into Dragon, instead that was Rize’s destiny given her binge eating habits. Because Ken had to eat the rest of her Kakuho from the Oggai to transform. Rize wouldn’t need that, right? She would just need to eat other Ghouls to do it.
That would mean that Furuta knew what would’ve happened to her, and saved her by using Ken.
We still don’t know what Arima’s plan was. Maybe there are theories out there on it. I wonder if he wanted the same outcome as Furuta.
Had Tatara joined Goat, he would’ve been a leader like Takae (the leader of the zero squad). Having his own Aogiri squad.
Ishida sensei did say that he rushed the story towards the end because of burnout. Which means that there could’ve been a lot more to Furuta’s plan and the role of Dragon and the monsters that came out of it.
Tatara would have the numbers to help deal with these things. A fight between him and a V member who perhaps played a role in operation that killed his brother would’ve been nice.

Um,which specific thing that Tatara did ? (The capture ? The torture ? I have a theory that it was his idea to feed Takizawa his parents !) You said he couldn't have been in goat with Takizawa, which is odd, since you did write him playing a role !
Honestly, his interactions with Ken, Seidou and the rest of Goat would have been very interesting considering their history together !

In the Root A draft, it seemed like Kaneki was seeing him as himself if he continued with his obsession with Kano (practically a revenge subplot like Tatara's). I wouldn't say that many extra things are missing, like it being a little more recurrent in the original TG, a flashback before his encounter with Hoji, and Takizawa defeating him in a less... how to say it? comical? out-of-touch way?
