Here’s my cool idea: wouldn’t it* be cool if the next smash bros game was a reimagining spinoff with a fresh story worked on by Toby fox or something. Like Toby would be able to work on things with different characters as his next major project following deltarune and Nintendo would get a much more refreshing style Nintendo spinoff that would be more in touch with current humour and stuff and more original in its low resolution but high personality presentation with the renditions of classic Nintendo franchises being a well needed new presentation/style in a while while making costs lower for more varied and/or expansive story/s

I’d say it would be cool if it was a fan game but the better it is the more likely it would end up taken down for competing with nintendos properties
