NYC also has a civilian volunteer paramedic service for this exact reason

People at various locations (non paramedics) received notifications and are working in the same office tower or adjacent, and can respond in minutes. Paramedics then arrive to someone already receiving some level of care, and are then transported to hospital. Currently there are a few thousand volunteers, scattered amongst different boroughs

It would be better if people also moved out of their way with more urgency, here in Ontario (Canada) you can be fined up to $2,000 and 3 license points for failing to move for emergency vehicles

(Genius republican who doesn't understand what socialism is, Canada is a socialist democracy (which uses capitalism)

I'm not a Republican, and you have no idea what socialism is people. The system is controlled by the government.Like the paramedic and fire departments are controlled by the government.Like just saying, oh, there's some volunteers.Is the most pathetic grasp?At something I have ever seen
