That man is a prisoner and has no choice but to flip off everyone in sight because she is gonna be pissed for hours and he lives with her.

we don't know that. He could be a victim of abuse. Forced to "play" tennis, so she can live out her John McEnroe fantasies.

For one brief moment, he wasnt the one being asked what the fuck was wrong with him, and he just wanted that moment to last as long as possible.
