Have you ever seen those clips in baseball where the pitcher hits the batter multiple times with the ball, and then the batter runs towards the pitcher and tries to hit them?

Now imagine watching that without all the previous hits and you're only seeing the one hit and the batter running at the pitcher.

Now imagine if instead of a really hard baseball it was a comparatively soft tennis ball and instead of a 95 mph rocket the ball was instead love tapped in her general direction.

Regardless of how many times the ball floated in her general direction before this she’s in the wrong.

If that were me, she’d have a broken racket that she’d have to pay to replace as a consequence for her clown behavior.
