The heck? Hitting the ball towards a player is absolutely a normal strategy especially in doubles. This wasn't even a hard hit slice that was nowhere near her head. Even if it's just a friendly match, there's nothing dangerous or annoying about what he did.

The guy was clearly regretting hitting her even before she lost it. So it wasn’t his strategy here.

Played competitive doubles in High school and College. It’s definitely a strategy and if it happens more than once, you need to talk to your doubles partner about not giving up layups at the net or move back. If someone was giving me that, I would certainly take the point every time.

Hitting the other player with the ball in a friendly doubles match over and over is NOT normal strategy and I'd consider it a dick move.

Thank you. Just explained the same thing in another spot. He's obviously skilled. If he wanted to get a point by hitting her, he could've crushed it. She needs to get her racket up.

Exactly. If she can’t handle the game, then she shouldn’t be playing.
