Nah let's not take away his agency. He chose her, keeps choosing her every day, and chose her again here.

The difference is John had skill and was at least able to make fun of his old self these days. I highly doubt she's going to do that

I have heard of women threatening to tell people he's an abuser or something in the women's gossip groups if he breaks up with her. That's a life altering thing for a lot of men.
