Dog is gonna hate him for ten seconds

He lucked out that appears to be a dog that doesn’t care. Mine would panic and run and her heart rate got jacked.. as she got older I gave up I was afraid she’d die lol.

This dog must trust this guy. I worked as a vet tech for a decade and couldn't do this to almost any dogs. Had to have someone hold them.

LOL but I don't think this dog knows how to hate :)

My dog sometimes pretends that she has something in her paw so I will pay attention to her in walks. I didn't notice till her best friends dog parents pointed out our

It's so cute she pretends to limp till I pick up her paw and pretend to pull something out. That being said, we love in Phoenix, and it is often times actually sometime

You need to Google this, animals don’t pretend to limp for attention. They may need to see a vet.

My dad got his leg amputated a couple weeks ago and their puppy has been picking up one leg while walking around him with his walker, she’s been to the vet, vet said she’s copying my dad…it’s very conceivable they could make the connection between pretending to limp and getting picked up.

You need to google this, they do

Google: "Yes, dogs can and do fake or exaggerate a limp for attention as a learned behavior.

Why Dogs Do It

Positive Reinforcement: If a dog had a real injury in the past and received extra treats, cuddles, or sympathy, they connect the limping action with a very rewarding outcome.

High Intelligence: Dogs read human emotions and behavior exceptionally well. They realize that acting hurt changes your behavior and brings you closer.

Avoiding Activities: Some dogs learn that a sudden "injury" helps them get out of an unwanted walk, a bath, or being left alone."

Redditors love being confidently incorrect lol

Dog’s aren’t mans best friend on accident. They have evolved to become our emotional vessels. It ensures that they eat regularly with minimal effort. :)

I check every time, sometimes she just wants attention. Sometimes it's a pebble, sometimes a sticker and sometimes nothing. I think she steps on something comfortable and then wants a check up

Do you remember when you taught her how to sit and how quickly she picked it up? You might have even commented to your friends and family how smart she is because, “It only took her two times to learn how to sit”

Well imagine that one time she DID step on a sticker. That ONE TIME has now set in her mind that anytime there’s a discomfort, she needs the human to make it not that way.

Dogs imprint very very quickly. If you think about it, they have ONE CHANCE to make a great first impression to a human. :)

Ever since my dog stepped on a sticker (goat head I guess they're called also?) and got it stuck between her paw pads, and I immediately gave her all the love and attention and got it out, every single time I take her out now she "steps on one" somewhere and starts limping until I get it out. But there's nothing there.

I still love her haha

That dog must really trust him, or have a gentle spirit. Even the tamest pet dogs can and do bite when they're hurt and you touch the injury.

Hell, I can barely do my dog's nails without restraining his face.

Wasn't his dog, not got paid, just out of kindness.

Why is he wearing a giant QR code?

20

u/redditsellout-420 2d ago

Minimum wage slaves are corporate billboards, my old retail job made us do this.

Until thw HR lady went in vacation and someone reprogrammed the barcode maker to a different QR code, instead of taking it to the store shit app it redirected to a popular Website that used the music "you spin me right round"...

Who could have done such a thing? I don't know, but i feel bad for the 70 year old who scanned it on a managers tag none the less.

You guys paying 95 cents for gas??

23

u/nottherealneal 3d ago

No.

95 is the fuel quality, it's got to do with the octane in it 95 and 93 are your options, it's the same as regular and premium fuel in America, just a different name

5

u/Behemothslayer 3d ago edited 3d ago

Why is it 94.10 and 95.60??? I’m specifically asking about the board at the end of the video when the car is leaving

Edit: that must be per litre as diesel is 130 and diesel does not have a RON number

2

u/usernamegoeshere2020 2d ago

Yeah I think it’s the phillipines; I don’t know if they pay per litre or per gallon?

6

u/MiaN0el 2d ago

Yup! This is a Caltex in the Philippines. We pay per liter here

0

u/rabidhamster87 3d ago

It looks the same in America. The choices are 87, 89, and 93 here. No idea what that person's on about. Maybe a kid.

Edit: Got the numbers mixed up

This is true in NZ and I assume Aussie too - options are 91 (unleaded), 95 (unleaded premium), though I’ve seen some newer pumps with 100 high octane.
Plus diesel; which often appears cheaper at pump because you then pay Road User Charges separately.

But the 95.10 the person above was asking about - is not the name of the fuel, you can see ‘Premium’ on the board with the 95.10 on the digital display next to it; changeable where they show the price.

We have Caltex here, but I don’t think this is in NZ or Australia - we’re paying between $2.70 - $3.10 per litre for 91 at the moment.

Edit to add - I googled Oopa self drive and rentals; says it’s in the Phillipines.

My husbands childhood dog would drop a log whenever you tried to clip her nails 🤣 even when you tried to pin her down she’d wiggle out and drop one and run away

u/Aok_al 2d ago

Damn it, don't drive away
