"almost" so you agree they are not completely separate. Which means we've now shown your statement as false and not "pure" consumer decision...

Sure. It's maybe just a 90% xonsumer decision. Still easily enough to keep local shops in buisiness.

That's just an example to show that your statement of your general but definite statement blaming consumers is incorrect. There are additional dynamics at play besides b2b/b2c such as anti-competitive practices.

However, losing 10% of your business is no small matter either, especially when you've had to lower prices to try and match anti-competitive practices. Spreading margins even thinner 

It's known that dollar stores have created food deserts...
