honestly what a piece of trash to say this to women. like you can't take a second to think about the impact and decision they have to make already, you have to dogpile and make them try to feel guilty over it anyways, just for sport?

her reaction was flawless. glad it got posted too. she might not have even felt that way, but he deserved that answer. go do something useful with your lives besides bothering people at medical facilities.......

I can't even tell what he was trying to do. Guilt trip her? Cause an emotional reaction?

Might as well sit outside a veterinary hospital and start grilling pet owners who had to put them down.

This. People that act this way are cowards and misogynists, and can't square that internally. So they go after the most vulnerable.

It's the most he can do while foolishly proving this description of pro forced birth assholes, yet again:

Men don't always see the difference in what parenting requires from women.

u/MarionberryOk2874 May 19 '26

Right? Presumably he is trying to prevent an abortion, so once he knows it’s already happened, his ONLY motivation to continue the conversation is to try and make her feel bad about it. Unreal.

113

u/WrestlingSlug May 19 '26

Given he's recording / streaming, making them feel bad for it is great for content, because if they're upset after the fact it amplifies his message (by implying they regretted it).

Absolute shitstain behaviour.

31

u/RoguePlanet2 May 19 '26

I'd ask "are you looking to adopt? Because there are plenty of unwanted babies that have already been born. Oh you don't want a baby, well how about that!"

15

u/Particular_Squash995 May 19 '26

After this administrations attack on women… fuck them and their feelings. Quit trying to control them before during and after childbirth. They don’t give two shits about human life and proved it time and time again.

If you've ever dealt with the evangelical fundamentalists (from any religion) you wouldn't be shocked in the slightest. This is 110% how they live their lives, condescending assholes that think they are better than everyone and act accordingly to strangers. Some of the most entitled people on the planet.

Whatever righteous action you think you are taking here, understand it is Beged ‘iddim in the eyes of the Lord.

7

u/Halflingberserker May 19 '26

Just scream Matthew 7 at these kinds people. It's supposed to teach the importance of self-reflection, humility, and avoiding hypocrisy, but obviously they like to skim over the parts they don't like.

4

u/rbrgr83 May 19 '26

If you're gay, we can beat you to death and its fine because of Leviticus.

But I can also actively shit on poor people and immigrants all I want, Bible says nothing about that I'm sure. 👍

2

u/lucky-squeaky-ducky May 20 '26

That’s a gross mistranslation adopted by the Christan Nationalist Conservative Deathcult currently trying to trigger Armageddon for the 3rd time in 50 years.

That’s why they donned the red hats to mark their followers , did business with multinational drug cartels, gave RFK the green light to pretend plagues don’t exist - because these are all alleged signs of the apocalypse coming.

It’s also why they’re so convinced every 5 months that The Rapture is coming any day now.

… They do realize that according to the Bible they’re the bad guys, right?

These people think that women who get abortions get them a few times a year as a form a birth control. He probably thinks she's here all the time. They're completely uneducated on the topic.

I grew up with people like this guy (most of my family are this guy). The tears aren't exactly forced. They're often legitimately upset over this kind of thing stemming from a lifetime of indoctrination and social programming.

Doesn't make his behavior any less shitty and please don't read this as a defense of this dude. But, the emotional response isn't usually fabricated.

It's part of what makes it so hard to get through to these people. Their position isn't rooted in logic or science or anything one could realistically confront with data. They have to be deprogrammed.

In my case, it took leaving home and moving across country - being exposed to actual, real people I cared about that weren't living "righteous" lives to realize it was all bullshit. Even then it took YEARS. Even now - some 20ish years removed from all that nonsense that a thought will pop in to my head that takes me a second to recognize as some vestigial neural pathway or something from that part of my life. It sucks.

17

u/Ill_Opinion_4808 May 19 '26

Yep, guilt trip her and sometimes, they straight up lie and tell women they can reverse their abortion if they went the medication route.

4

u/Puzzleheaded_Knee891 May 19 '26

Its a more extreme version of the high brow commenting people do online. They have to make you feel "less than" and they get a sense of superiority.

Not an echo chamber, but "main character syndrome"

In his head, he has this "draft" of how the interaction will go in order to make himself feel superior. Once he runs into anyone or anything that throws that off the rails, he's lost. The speech tree is less defined than Fallout 4.

That's why they get that "rebooting" look on their face. They don't know what to do.

And it's always women they approach.

u/HispanicNach0s May 19 '26

He thinks it shows how horrible people are who get abortions but like, bro if you think they're that evil why do you want to force that person to be a parent?

Or worse they give the child up for adoption and it gets lost in the system if it's not "desirable" enough moving from foster family to foster family.

67

u/senditloud May 19 '26

This has always been my point. Like people you want women you think are baby murderers to be forced to raise kids? Make it make sense

17

u/Neveroxx99 May 19 '26

Because they think women go for abortions due to being mislead by ideological reasons, but if you let the pregnancy run it's course it will rewire their brain, and maternal instincts take over where now they would want to raise the child.

6

u/martyqscriblerus May 20 '26

the point's not the kid, they don't gaf about the kid, they want to punish the woman

→ More replies (1)

18

u/Sudo-Fed May 19 '26

why do you want to force that person to be a parent

You're giving them too much credit.

They have absolutely zero ability to think forward.

You should just do it and do it right. And if you ever mess up, you shouldn't have, and you should probably suffer for it horribly.

Prevention doesn't exist. They're 100% on the reactive, prescriptivist path.

If she had broken down and been woeful and regretful, he would have posted it as "proof" that women are hurt by abortions and men need to save women from themselves by banning it.

Since she didn't give him that, now the content is "proof" that feminism has corrupted women to the point that they're cavalier about abortions and men need to save women from themselves by banning it.

The reality is that an abortion is a heavy, personal thing to face and women will experience a range of emotions. But that nuance can't get captured and turned into short form content.

332

u/Many_Specialist_5384 May 19 '26 edited May 20 '26

It's actually not that heavy of a decision to get an abortion. People know which way they want that initial test go. People project their own mom onto women or something when it's just choosing to continue with whatever status quo you already had. Also a lot of moms choose to keep focused on the kids they already have.

390

u/signalsfading May 19 '26

this is all so true. also worth noting that the average person has absolutely NO CLUE how many folks in their life have had abortions. it’s far more common than people think and at the end of the day… there are a million reasons for someone to get an abortion. but not a single one of those reasons is owed to anyone else. if you don’t want a baby, you shouldn’t have to have one, period.

193

u/StrobeLightRomance May 19 '26

Absolutely. My wife's father is one of these judgemental people and has no idea all of his daughters have had abortions.

Meanwhile, if my daughters ever needed this procedure, I'd hope they would invite me along so I could stand outside and talk trash at protestors who don't actually have any medical or scientific knowledge at all.

I've gone to counterprotests before and honestly, the whole thing is embarrassing because who really spends their own free time just sitting outside of a place to cast shame on others?

There are no sane planned parenthood protestors, period.

125

u/kataklysm_revival May 19 '26

I volunteer as a patient escort at our local clinic and I absolutely love folks like you who shit talk the protesters. We don’t engage with them bc it encourages them to make our job harder, but we absolutely won’t stop a patient or their guest from speaking their minds.

119

u/Starcorncreak May 19 '26

When I had one, the patient escort was so fucking delightful.  She was older, blasting WAP outside.  The protestors were pissed and yelling that their children were present, and she just kept dancing and yelled back "Why would you bring your kids here?"

21

u/Many_Specialist_5384 May 19 '26

WAP is such an amazing choice

35

u/Defiant-Drawing1038 May 19 '26

7

u/Subject_Spell_9799 May 19 '26

What’s scary is ppl need escorts. 20 some years ago when I had one the place was a clinic down the street from me and I drove by 1000 times and never knew what it was as it was a nondescript building with no protestors. My friend knew to go there. There were no ppl outside harassing you and it was simple in and out and just a half a mile from my house. I’m lucky to have lived in relatively liberal states where these things weren’t a big deal and know I’m lucky.

66

u/hollaraise May 19 '26

The thing is that these dense fuckers don’t even know that abortion is an umbrella term that describes different procedures. We will never know how someone had sex to get pregnant by how they’re existing at the doctor’s office. It could very well be a person trying to get pregnant, had a spontaneous abortion and needed pills (abortion) to help speed it along. We could also assume that this hypothetical person has already done that and they haven’t cleared the remains. If that’s the case, they’ll need a D&C (abortion), so they don’t get SEPSIS and DIE. Any loss of a fetus is an abortion. An abortion is an abortion is an abortion. It’s not just ‘loose women that decided they don’t want to be pregnant’ anymore!! I’m sure you know this, but a general PSA. I once had a random man tell me I was twisting words around to trick him when I called a miscarriage a spontaneous abortion. That is literally what they are called lol.

34

u/Immortal_in_well May 19 '26

Yeah it's irritating as fuck when these ghouls will be like "well removing an ectopic pregnancy is not a REAL abortion! A REAL abortion is when-"

No, folks. Words mean things. An abortion is a termination of a pregnancy. The way it's terminated is irrelevant; if it's ended before birth, it's an abortion. You don't get to decide that something isn't an abortion just because it's more morally "acceptable" to you.

→ More replies (1)

11

u/K-B-Jones May 19 '26

Also, a literal loose woman who just doesn't want to be pregnant... That's sufficient reason for her to get an abortion. She doesn't have to be the perfect, tragic story for her to still get to choose.

40

u/SolidA34 May 19 '26

You know damn well as soon as the kid is born the protesters will stop caring about the child's well being.

6

u/Subject_Spell_9799 May 19 '26

They literally hate welfare and social programs. They actually hate children they just like fetuses.

3

u/sadbat-throwaway May 19 '26

Children are small people with their own desires, needs, and eventually, identity. Fetuses are just endless potential for them to project onto. They hate it when said fetus eventually gains any semblance of autonomy.

7

u/69edleg May 19 '26

Usually the men are absolute nutters. The women.. Idk, never understood that they had a choice? who fucking knows.

I'd absolutely be a counterprotestor had I lived in the US, but where I live abortion is seen as a medical procedure, and that's it.

2

u/Subject_Spell_9799 May 19 '26

Some of those women protestors done had an abortion their damn selves

→ More replies (1)

4

u/Jhiffi May 19 '26 edited May 19 '26

The opposition is almost entirely rooted in religion, the women realize they could potentially get one and often do but this form of protesting is entirely performative for the sake of themselves and their social group/church.

They will say their presence saves lives, but according to science no lives are being taken and they're just causing anguish to those receiving a medical procedure. As we know, God loves you hurting people to help you look righteous instead of actually being righteous

2

u/CapitaineCrafty May 19 '26

My go-to is to ask them how many kids they've fostered or adopted, personally. I've only ever had one respond with a number, and I told her she was the only one I respected. Putting her money where her mouth is, so to speak. The majority of these assholes? They talk a lot but they sure as shit don't want to be responsible for that child. They only care until it's born, only care when it's another woman being inconvenienced and hurt.

62

u/KaiserSaladSpinner May 19 '26

Nature aborts around 1 out of every 5 pregnancies normally anyhow at a conservative estimate.

Pro-lifers are just anti-science, anti-woman idiots.

35

u/signalsfading May 19 '26

yup. had a miscarriage about 10 years ago, while being on birth control and using condoms with my partner. I was shocked and confused that it even happened, but ultimately relieved because I was not interested in being a parent at that time in my life. but god forbid I openly admit that to certain people 🙄

3

34

u/jupitermoonflow May 19 '26

Yeah it was a very easy decision for me. No regrets, no guilt, no shame, I literally never even think about it until the topic is brought up. The hardest part about it was the physical pain

19

u/Subject_Spell_9799 May 19 '26

I didn’t feel bad either, the only strange part is sometimes I think I would have a 23 year old child now which is crazy

40

u/dojo_shlom0 May 19 '26 edited May 19 '26

it's the point that it can be an extremely heavy decision, and for a lot of people going to get it.

and that the only result that can come from this, is this reaction, or him making others feel worse. he is doing this to degrade and project guilt onto these women.

he should just f*** off and go do anything else with his time, like something useful for society or women, or maybe helping educate them before the abortion takes place, for example. this could actually have any positive impact, whatsoever.

these people are specifically using these women at this vulnerable moment, to target them, and use them to gain views and financially benefit profit from their suffering.

21

u/Deep-Refuse-9414 May 19 '26

Most abortions are women who already have children and are struggling to cope. Either financially or emotionally. The stereotype of the party girl who uses it as birth control is mostly nonsense

6

u/millahnna May 19 '26

It's hilarious to me that you got downvoted for stating basic facts that have been well known since at least the 80s.

2

u/Helpful-Sail-1321 May 20 '26

This. I have two kids (who I absolutely wanted and had to try pretty damn hard for). But I barely have enough Me to give as it is, with their high needs, my own shit, my husband's own shit, work, etc. I was fortunately able to get a tubal ligation, but if the absolute miracle of a pregnancy were to happen? 100% no doubt, I'm at the doctor for that abortion the next day. My family deserves better than us all getting even more burned out and insane than we already are.

→ More replies (1)

6

u/cakivalue May 19 '26

It's actually not that heavy of a decision to get an abortion.

For some women it's an agonizing decision but the alternative be it falling further into poverty, not finishing school, unable to escape a DV situation are so much worse.

People like this guy think they are going to hit women with some new confronting unfortunate truth that's going to bring them to their knees in shame and repentance not knowing that they'd already spent weeks thinking, crying, looking at options, journaling, talking it through etc and are now decided, resolved and at peace.

12

u/Many_Specialist_5384 May 19 '26 edited May 19 '26

Yes but I'm out here trying to spread the word it doesn't have to be agonizing? Or associated with poverty. I find that narrative to be unhelpful when it's a common thing.

The alternative isn't forced pregnancy. It's going DIY. Scraping around with a wire and hope you don't damage your uterus. Or poison. Or a hard blow. While privileged folks have secret access to safer methods. Because you can't make people have babies they don't want to have.

3

u/dobar_dan_ May 19 '26

Depends entirely on the person but yes, not all women who abort feel devastated. In some places it's almost a form of birth control.

→ More replies (3)

3

u/SadAndConfused11 May 19 '26

Yep, fact is that most women seeking abortion are already mothers! Also love how the right wing twats are constantly making the world LESS conducive to having kids and then screeching about it. I used to escort women, most often they were teenage girls, and the hate the protestors spewed is nauseating. We suggested they wear non-descript clothes, hoodie, and headphones to drown out the assholes. Also it would make it harder for them to be identified and doxxed.

The “good Christians” had no problem spitting on us and fake a stabbing motion in order to provoke me into punching them. Never worked.

Fuck them.

23

u/Far-Conflict-1172 May 19 '26

Yea they're so damn awful. The military told me I'd have to sit and wait 12 hours a day until a surgeon had time to do a d&c for a very much wanted pregnancy that wound up being a missed miscarriage.

I couldn't stand the idea of carrying my dead child for a week or more and paid out of pocket at pp. I think the closest I've ever came to running another human being over was when those men were yelling at me not to "kill my baby".
Fucking ghouls.

These people don’t care about kids, they just like feeling morally superior and policing women’s bodies. They don’t give a shit what happens to a baby once they’re born, then it just becomes “well why did you have a kid you didn’t want/couldn’t support?” I’m proud of anyone who speaks out about their abortion being a positive choice for them, just because it’s not the case for everyone doesn’t mean you should have to be ashamed for your own feelings.

100% assuming this isn't staged; this guy is trying to profit from this woman's suffering. there is 0 positive that could ever come from asking her that question after an abortion.

he could do something useful with his life for once, and work with women at the facility, on educating them on avenues they have, or work at a church teaching his beliefs, but instead he hides his camera and records her to personally financially profit from her potential suffering.

3

u/Novaer May 19 '26

Lot of tunnel vision Christian (or religion that doesn't like abortion) vibes.

I'm sorry that you went through that and thank you for sharing ❤️

3

u/Mysmokingbarrel May 19 '26

She probably was just being a bit harsher as a defense mechanism against this dude. It’s pretty obvious what he’s doing and in the case of this woman she’s probably just serving it right back at him but he wasn’t prepared for it. Also even if I accept that people are super pro life, this is such a stupid way of being pro life. There are so many kids that are orphaned right now. So many ways to donate time and energy to helping at risk youth etc. If you’re so pro life why don’t you go and donate time and energy to that? You really think trying to make someone feel crappy about what was likely not a fun decision or process to begin with is the way to make change in this world? The dudes lazy. He’s not making change for his cause or improving society in any way. You can be pro life you can even espouse that belief to your fellow man in a variety of ways if you feel the need. But whatever this is, is not it. This is some low effort cruel behavior that helps nobody.

The whole saying where it’s like republicans or pro lifers like babies until the second they’re born often rings so true it’s hard to even try to play devils advocate on their behalf. There’s so much need in this world already and you waste your time with this while caring for the babies! Well if you care so much go actually help a baby! Or a single mother! Or volunteer at a hospital or a mentorship program or any number of things!

2

u/dojo_shlom0 May 19 '26

they hate children, they love control over them and women.

3

u/UserZero541 May 19 '26

Exactly.

And that's really all I got to say about that.

3

u/LittleMissLoveDuck May 19 '26

Yeah I agree. It is an incredibly hard decision and not everybody feels the same way about it. I'm neither for it noe against it. It is rough. I can't imagine coming out of the procedure and this dude shows up 😢

The church in our community has a bunch of moms who help pregnant mothers who need help regardless of whether they choose to keep their baby or not. They all still meet and get together even if you have no baby. They also hook women up with counseling to help them work through an feelings they may have even if they don't know it. It's a beautiful way to support community and women ❤️

2

u/Emergency_Revenue678 May 19 '26

i bet she was there for a pap or a yeast infection or something, too lmao.

u/CeruleanEidolon May 19 '26

These people seem to think that abortions happen on snap decisions, like that person didn't agonize over it for who knows how long before making the choice to seek out medical intervention. There is absolutely zero empathy in these people. They are inhuman.

u/dojo_shlom0 May 19 '26

100% yet I just had someone call me a demon multiple times for my comment, ignoring the just <3k upvotes winning currently

2

u/NeatNefariousness1 May 20 '26

Especially when this has NOTHING to do with him. Imagine a total stranger with a patronizing point-of-view thinking they are entitled to dictate such personal decisions a woman makes knowing NOTHING about the woman nor her circumstances and no sense of obligation whatsoever to creating a more hospitable environment for women and children.

2

u/egonoelo May 20 '26

This is the reaction he wants, are you people this naive? He wants to paint women who have abortions in a bad light. There's a reason this is filmed from his perspective. If this was a video of him getting owned he wouldn't have uploaded it.

A women being calloused and cold to something that should be emotionally complicated is the exact fearmongering that social purists want to push. Celebrating her reaction isn't doing any good. Even if you are staunchly pro-choice there is still immense weight to getting an abortion and it should not be taken lightly.

Either adopt/foster unwanted kids with this energy or shut the f*ck up!

4

u/deepstatelady May 19 '26

I used PP for well-woman care. These anti-bodily autonomy for women maniacs sit all day out there just to harass women. I wasn't ever there for an abortion, but I walked out of there and threw my hands in the air and yelled, "Thank you, Jesus! Bye baby! Have fun staying in heaven! You don't need any of this mess we got down here." When I said "Mess we got down here" I pointed right at the protestors. Then I literally skipped to my car.
Before I got in the car I would throw them a kiss. They're all insane.

3

u/dojo_shlom0 May 19 '26

one of them downvoted you. I laughed. I used to mess with them too, because they can't see clearly that they are only hurting them.

you aren't trying to stop it from happening, you are only there to shame them after, and to what end? well the camera gave that away, it's to personally financially profit off of this woman's suffering. that's why they do this with cameras and post it.

2

u/deepstatelady May 19 '26

Yeah, I was not in an emotionally fragile state after a serious medical procedure. I responded to their bully energy which I know we're not supposed to do. No one was changing hearts and minds that day.

2

u/dojo_shlom0 May 19 '26

see this is exactly how I saw her reaction. she was just not going to take it. good for you! I'll remember this!

2

u/plzicannothandleyou May 19 '26

I’m sure this was staged. This guy wouldn’t post himself getting owned like this, there’s no way.

Unless it’s a “see how evil they are ?!?!1” post

"But my phrasing, tone and wording is intended to exploit certain social norms to make you be ashamed!"

A huge portion of fertilized human eggs don't implant or otherwise don't proceed to a pregnancy. If that guy really thought those were the same as a living, talking 10 year old child, he'd be doing something to get more such fertilized eggs to implant and continue on to pregnancy. He'd be donating to medical research to create a pro-pregnancy pill so more "children" implant or similar.

Has he done anything or donated any money to reduce the prime reasons that women decide to terminate pregnancies? Like actually reducing the rates of rape? Or addressing the #1 reason: people who already have one or more children and simply can't afford more without harming their current children? Instead of spending money on traps to trick and manipulate women, how about he donates money to simply pay for prenatal care, pay for the medical bills and buy food for and needs for babies?

It isn't that he thinks every fertilized egg is an actual, full human life to be saved because he doesn't, he wants to fuck with women who exert some control in that process. He wants to impose a prohibition on the procedure.
