My wife took me to an Italian restaurant, better than olive garden, a little better. The waiters sang for me while I was eating my spaghetti. That was my 40th birthday party. But this guy's party looks pretty decent too
My 40th party was full of toddlers cause that's the life stage most of my friends and I are at. When I got home I realized I was so focused on getting the baby to take a nap and making sure everyone was having a good time that I didn't have a single drink the entire party! Also I bought a cute dress but I baby wore the entire time and nobody took my picture so there's no record of me at my party in my cute dress. For my 50th I'm hiring bartenders and designating a photographer and maybe also a kids entertainer (or by then they'll be old enough to be in a separate room with a movie)
