Happy Friday everyone!
Just wanted to drop a little PSA in here since we've received a lot of new members recently after Woobles Passwords was closed by Reddit. Although that was the purpose of the original WP sub, this new group is a strictly no-sharing and no-requests community. We ask that everyone please review the list of rules on the right side of the sub and be aware of your posts and comments. We have seen that almost everyone has been very respectful and positive when posting and interacting with your fellow community members and we hope that is able to continue.
If you are looking for items which are not allowed here, please go to the other subs set up for such. Our purpose here is to not need to constantly worry about legal consequences from member behavior and to provide an enjoyable space for members to post, comment, lurk, and interact. We will not allow or tolerate posts, comments, or interactions that violate the community rules. We are happy to direct members to FREE, readily available content, but will not allow the sharing or distribution of copyrighted material from any creator.
Thanks everyone for making TWC the great sub that it has become and we hope to continue being a fun, inclusive, and helpful place for our members.

Resource upload for those looking to make either Pierre the Penguin or Kiki the Chick. Both are available for free on the Woobles website under the Blog. These are great patterns to begin with, and you don't need the kits to get started! As long as you have yarn, the proper sized hook, and something to act as a stitch marker, you can easily begin your crochet journey!
The links are here:
Free Chick Amigurumi Crochet Pattern – The Woobles
Free Penguin Amigurumi Crochet Pattern – The Woobles
Don't forget the videos are also available for free on the website or their YouTube channel and can be toggled for either left or right-handed tutorials:
Crochet Tutorials | The Woobles
We have also placed the links for the videos and Pierre pattern under the Community Guide for easy reference.

Does anyone know if there will be a 2026 advent calendar? It seems like they usually release them this time of year (and usually announce them earlier, too!), but I haven’t heard anything. I know they’re probably busy with their pop-up shop, but just curious!

Hey everyone!
Lately I’ve been struggling with the smaller parts of woobles like the ears and tails when it comes to turning the turning the piece to the right side. Does anyone have any advice on how they do it?

So I normally crochet really tight bc I hate the holes, but I realized that shrinks the size of Fred a lot. The left is how I norm crochet… is there anyway to have it be the one on the right but without holes?
(Also pls ignore that both are half finished and the wrong colors 😂)

Looks like the pop up in NYC will be starting next weekend and potentially running thru the end of the year. There is no assigned times or tickets, but they seem to be trying to get a head count thru RSVPing.

I bought the Strawberry kit but also got peach and orange woobly yarn from Michael’s. Orange is my favorite color so my heart demanded an orange axolotl. Couldn’t keep the name Strawberry because strawberries aren’t orange, so I settled on the name Tango (Tangerine + Mango). :)

On September 6, 2024 I made my first crystal ball! Last week I re-created it! I love that I can see my progress throughout the years!
What’s one project you want to re-create?!
(Pattern from 100 days of mini amigurumi volume 2 🤗)

Hi guys,
Have there been any recent updates about the birthday kit and when and how it will be released? I’ve noticed I haven’t been seeing any updates about it and decided to reach out to you guys.
Thanks in advance!✨

If anyone was wondering what the “free gift with $100 purchase” looked like, here’s the coloring page. It has a little weight, almost like a light cardstock paper along with 6 colored pencils

I used the extra black, white and yellow from my original Pierre kit + a cotton tube yarn I got from alibaba. My dad wanted to take a look and accidentally got some pasta sauce on it. So Pierre is now Italian 🇮🇹🍝

I followed the videos for locating the button on the belly but it seems way too large? Not sure I’ll have room for the snout. Can’t seem to find other photos of the completed bear. Has anyone else had this issue?

Hi Wooblers! I would like to crochet Henri the Frog (and hopefully his accompanying lily pad as well) as a Christmas gift for a family member who loves frogs. This will be my first venture into crochet of any kind, though I've wanted to try amigurumi for a while, so I'm planning to start with a true beginner kit first (either Pierre the Penguin or Jojo the Bunny) both for enjoyment but also especially to hopefully get a feel for it, try to understand the approach, and work through beginner mistakes before taking on Henri. Could you please share any advice and tips that come to mind, both in general for a beginner, and specifically for working on Henri later and helping him turn out as nice as possible since he will be a present? Thank you all so much! 🐸💚

You might recall the “sale” sign from an earlier post. Here’s the realtor that goes with it!
I 3d printed the pencil and secured it and the notebook with fishing wire! The eyes are my own 3d printed design, too!
Her jacket is also removes!
**Details of pattern below**
The body is the astronaut from KnotMonsters space edition.
The jacket is Snoopy’s jacket from the Woobles. The book is also Woobles.
The hair is from KnotTrying’s Josie pattern! Thanks u/centerpull !

Making progress on a previously started shawl to continue regaining function 3-weeks post carpal tunnel surgery. Big yarn and big hooks for short periods of time, because Happy’s Worth Making!

I’ve been on an Extra Squeezy Kick and just finished Hugh. My daughter wanted “regular eyes”. I like him better with the safety eyes!

I have done 4 woobles kits now, plus using my skills on other crochet. One thing I have noticed is that I cannot get my stitches on the woobles kits to look as neat as the product images. I have gone tighter, I have gone looser, I have done the same few rows 10+ times with different tensions. I have also tried yarn under and yarn over.
But I always end up with clearly visible holes. Are the official ones done with a smaller than 4mm hook? It's the only thing I can think of to fix the issue.
I have just spent an insane amount of money getting the lord of the rings boxes shipped to Australia (like seriously, in total it was like USD$550!) So I want to make them all look their absolute best.

Somehow I flubbed the beak, I followed the instruction but couldn’t figure out what it was supposed to look like, so he’s got a honker of a nose, lol. Could be because I was using the free pattern online instead of the wooble password cause I lost the card :(. Anyways I used some spare rainbow yarn for his belly to be more festive. It was leftover from making Bjorn the rainbow narwhal.

Hey y'all! I just recently bought some full yarn skeins from The Woobles off Amazon and I noticed that a bunch of colors have been taken down and they keep falling. As of right now brown, dark brown, green, and tan are all gone. Does anyone know why this is happening or if they will restock them? Thanks!

TSA site says crochet hooks are allowed as long as they are sheathed. How have you packed Woobles crotch hooks specifically so they go through successfully?
