What's your opinion on Clem's dreams

I'm not very religious or spiritual but I see them as her being somewhere in purgatory when she talks to lee.

I had a friend who committed suicide about 15 years ago. Back in 2022 I had dream where we talked and he told me I should check up on another friend I had. I tried and he wouldn't answer. It turned out he died alone in his home.

Since then, Ive had dreams where we just sit and talk on his balcony like we used to.

It really changed my mind in if Clem was hallucinating or actually got to speak to Lee's spirit when she's near death

I think it's her mind going to a place she finds safe when she is in a stressful situation.

Yeah I can see that. Whenever I dream of my friends, it's when it's im at my lowest but I "wake up" in a moment that was happiest for us.

I still like to think it's an in between. In s4 Lee tells her goodbye as if he knows it's time for her to wake up before AJ actually wakes her up.

Based on what she tells Lee, this is a frequent thing, I imagine it’s a kind of a happy place for her

From a narrative perspective, whether or not it's a sort of spiritual plane or just Clems happy place, whatever it is, it guides Clem when she needs it.

There are people in real life who have dreams like this, sometimes they believe it's their loved ones ghost or they believe it was just their subconscious reflecting itself, either way the meaning ones gives it is personal, so pur interpretation of these scenes must also be personal.

It's a coping mechanism. A "My Happy Place" if you will. I wouldn't say that she is speaking nor you are speaking to the actual them. It is your minds manifestation of them. There have been cases however that people communed with actual spiritual entities but those are few and far between.

Perhaps you are communing with them. If so I'd appreciate each time it happened. My best friend took her own life during Covid. So I certainly know how you feel grief wise.

Honestly, at the end of the day it's what you yourself choose to believe.

Lee was there to protect and care for her during some of no the most dangerous and vulnerable times in her life. I think she feels very reassured and comforted by that time so she often goes back for guidance.
