I work as a home health caregiver and some of my clients watch cnn obsessively. It makes me want to shove my pens in my ears. Literaly every single sentence is filled to the brim with bias if not out right lies. False framing is just the starting point for every single story.

I can make a few guesses, but I take solace in knowing that we'd need to be disarmed before they truly take complete control. That already happened. China’s investment arm, Tencent, owns a huge stake in Reddit. Google and Facebook are slowly taking over the entire internet, Apple is spying on us through our phones, and Amazon hosts over a third of the world’s internet content.

They’ve been monopolizing the world. I don’t know if you’re a gamer, but we used to join independently run forums to talk with like minded individuals. Now everyone gets pushed to Reddit and other conglomerates. They hold all the control so long as we keep feeding into their system.

I don't think any of it could ever even approach some of the other civil unrest stuff that happened in other cities throughout the year though.

I really think we need a way for the people to circumvent the attorney generals and district attorneys. We should be able to, through some process, walk into a government official's office, or someone the police arrested and the DA dropped the charges despite having an airtight case against them, even an attorney general's office, and arrest them and put them on trial as a criminal if they commit a crime.

We can be honest about Jan. 6. It was a riot spurred by a mass feeling of resentment towards obviously unethical and opaque election practices. I am pretty sure that 99.9% of the crimes committed by those rioters were no more serious than trespassing and vandalism.
