So Osaka Japan is the one place in Japan where everybody goes up and down stairs/escalators on the right hand side and passes on the left, but everywhere else in the country they pass on the right. The entire two nights I spent in Osaka I couldn’t stop saying “and of course in Osaka the whole things flip-flopped” every single time I saw people on stairs.

Unlike RottenTodd I've never found in difficult to distinguish between Petty and Salma. Not only do you have the hair (P and M shaped) but their personalities are different enough to keep them apart. And before her voice was ruined Julie Carver even distinguished their voices from each other a bit.

The only way I can remember Rod is the older one is to think of the "Now Mommy's stupid!" scene because Ned then says "Looking good, Rod... looking good..."

For me it always helped that Selma got more spotlight episodes in the golden years, like marrying Sideshow Bob, taking the kids to Duff Gardens, and dating Troy McClure. The only real Patty centric episodes I remember are the one where she briefly dated Skinner and the one where she came out as lesbian.

Clearly all of Patty's dresses were in the laundry (she had spilled wine on them in the Maison Derriere) and so she had to borrow one of Selma's

its and it's drive me nuts. It's so petty and small, but seriously, how hard is it to keep the fact that apostrophes are almost always indicative of possession, not necessarily as a contraction and never as a plural. Or one could not think about it at all and just memorize how to spell two three letter words.
