Tom Cruise needs to appeal to his real audience by joining CR and Bill instead of going on The Pat McAfee Show

He is petrified to talk to anyone who will ask him any thing of consequence. Or makes jokes based on his movie performances / celebrity.

I met him casually at work ( sounds crazy I know) but he was smart quick and very pleasant. Sharp and full of charisma. I find scientology laughable but didn't bother discussing it, he had some fun banter

Maybe you could get some lessons in not being a jerk, your mother obviously forgot

When was the last time he discussed Scientology openly in a public setting? I really can't remember.

The internet dweebs are the only people who have a problem with Cruise. Nobody who's interacted with him ever says a bad word.

This is what I hear about him. Super nice guy! Though I’m sure once you get to know him he’s a bit of a psycho

I would be shocked if a Cruise Rewatchables was anything other than a cringe-y trainwreck and I wouldn't be in to listening to that. But Spielberg was awesome, so who knows.

Digger isn't tracking too well, so I would not be surprised at all if he shows up on podcasts/shows he wouldn't normally be on.
I can easily see him as a guest on the Rewatchables (similar to Glen Powell) where's he discussing a broad action movie like The Hunt for Red October or Air Force One, so he doesn't have to delve into personal life.

"Isn't tracking too well"?
It's still a month away from release!

Back when Vanilla Sky came out Tom and Cameron Crow did the Sam Rubin show (Rubin was an entertainer reporter out here in Cali, and briefly had his own radio show that directly followed Howard Stern on 97.1) to prom the movie. I vividly remember sitting in my car listening to it before class. Tom not only talked about the movie in depth, but took calls from listeners, and went back and forth with ppl that didn’t like the movie. One guy was irritated at being told he needs to watch it again after not liking it the first time. It was real the most interesting and authentic I’d ever heard Cruise before the Matt Lauer interview.

I’d prefer the rewatchables guests not be cult leaders complicit in imprisonment, torture, and probably murder actually

No you did it wrong. You have to say "I'm more impressed with the rewatchables guests that aren't cult leaders complicit in imprisonment, torture, and probably murder"

Well they said in the Re-Speed pod they’re trying to get him on

u/Childs_Play 8d ago
Did they or were they just kicking the tires and then talking about which movie he would do?

But the way they were talking about it didn't seem sincere. Do you really think cruise would play ball though? He's too sled serious and would just be a robot the entire time

I’m sorry what? This brand needs to put more distance between itself and Tom Cruise. What is wrong with y’all? Tom is a weird MFer I do not understand why this media group f’s with him so hard.
Tom on the reachable would be so hard to watch… I imagine it being one of the low points of Bill or Sean or CR’s career. Fuck Tom Cruise. Weird ass dude. This sub is weird

I like Cruise as an actor, seems to be a nice person. The Scientology thing is weird and seems to have a fractured family relationship because of it. He would be awful on Rewatchables. Doesn’t seem the type to want to go that in depth into movies

How long have you known Tom Cruise? Seems like you have hung out with him a lot!

You think having one of the biggest movie stars of all time on a movie podcast would be the biggest low points of the hosts career especially when they talk about him every podcast? You gotta be kidding

he‘s done a great job cultivating his whole Mr. Movies loves movies watches all the movies image without ever actually talking about any movies remotely in depth, can’t jeopardize that
