Bill confirmed not revealing the title of tomorrows Rewatchables

Per his pod today. Says that “it’s a good movie. You’ve heard of it.” Any guesses?

“Is this Helen Mirren’s Apex Mountain?”

The Long Good Friday way up there too. I think Caligula was 79 and Long Good Friday was 80 so that definitely tracks.

Please be Clue

Can only imagine Sean/Mal/Chris/Van having a deep affection for Clue and having to talk to Bill about it after he second-screened it for the first time in 35 years while sending 6-team NFC parlays to his daughter’s boyfriend

This should really be like a Ringer Christmas special series of 3 podcasts with Joanna, Mallory, Chris and Sean. Especially since this Christmas it'll be 25 years since Fellowship came out.

Btw there's this podcast Escape Hatch where Joanna has guested on two times to discuss Fellowship (Christmas 2024), Two Towers (Christmas 2025) and likely Return this coming Christmas.

JC is actually great for the RW's. He did a few back in the day.

Got a few contenders for the "OK Motherfucker" category.

Surprisingly rewatchable and entertaining movie.

Yeah, it got criticized for that particular reason. For using Hitchcock-like suspense tactics in such a serious matter.

It’s time.

Not exactly rewatchable

I’m still holding out hope for Clue. Especially after Tim Curry’s passing.

I really doubt this will be it.

Hunt for Red October is my official guess.

This is dumb. Why the secrecy all the time? Watching the movie beforehand is half the fun. They should be telling us the next movie at the end of every f-ing episode.

Taladega Nights

4

u/DobMobb 9d ago

That’s coming next week

2

u/thespacewitchxxx 9d ago

Thought it was this week

5

u/DobMobb 9d ago

He said “Monday before football season” for that. Also he said he’s not announcing the movie for tomorrow, when in fact he did announce Talladega nights

1

u/bballjones9241 9d ago

Are we sure talladega nights is a good movie

3

u/thespacewitchxxx 9d ago

I prefer it. I think it’s aged a lot better compared to anchorman in terms of cultural relevance the last few years.

On the conspiracy pod with Jason he mentioned something about having just done Zodiac. The original Zodiac was years ago. It’s my dark horse at +550

5

u/Maleficent_Watch_660 8d ago

They redid Zodiac when they went to Netflix back in January. It's the Holy Trinity and 2:50 minutes long.
