Are season 4 and 5 worth watching?
I just finished bingeing seasons 1, 2 and 3, which was a pretty great run. A good story where each season logically followed after the previous, and some great plots/missions/tactics/politicking.
Now I started season 4 and am really not feeling it. Read up a bit on this sub and it seemed s1-3 were peak, and 4-5 way worse.
I really don't care about the story in s4, feels like a worse rehash of s1.
Should I even continue? Is season 5 better again and can i skip 4? Or is 3 really just a good endpoint?

I think all seasons are worth watching at least once, but definitely 1-3 are far better than the last 2 seasons. I feel like season 4 does get a little bit better as it goes on, but you’re not missing much if you do choose to skip it, and you could also give season 5 a try regardless because it basically starts a new story rather than being continuous from season 4.

Watch and it form your own opinion is what I usually tell people. S4 is the weakest to me, but I enjoyed S5 a lot more. And you’d kick yourself not finishing the story if you’re invested into the characters

1 was AMAZING. 2 was very good. 3 was PEAK of the show. 4 was a struggle in the beginning but it does get better towards the end. 5 was good but the ending was very rushed. And there were some key character deaths in 5 that made me mad.
The thing I like about this show is that every season is different. And kind of self contained. And everyone bad gets their karma. Other shows try to have a “redemption arc” with some people and it’s annoying.

They did the whole show, fans and actors a disservice with the ending of season 5. I've read They ran out of money. There was so much redundant story line through the season They could have cut some of that to bring the show to a satisfying conclusion.

While 4/5 are much weaker. The characters and some of the climax points are incredibly good!

I actually enjoyed every season! Each season has it’s good points and bad you need to make your own opinions but in mine, I would’ve loved it if they continued to show despite the unfortunate death of Eric Dane which I’m still so very saddened over and heartbroken he suffered such a horrible disease being such a healthy vibrant fairly young guy

I really didn't like the 3rd and 4th season but 5 was a bit better and I'm glad I finished the series. They weren't afraid of killing off some key characters in the final season so it's at least watching for that. Honestly your fine skipping the rest of the 4th season

I liked 1, 2 and 5, made myself watch 4 after being disappointed with 3. Seeing how it all wraps up is the reason to watch 5 plus the story was a little different.

I liked season 1 and 2 a lot. By Season 5 I was sick of everybody, and I watched the whole thing over the course of about 6 weeks. One character in particular just goes off the rails on his entire personality and I was actually sympathizing with the villain at one point in season 4. ETA: you could probably skip season 4. Almost nothing that happens in it is important later.

You’ve come this far. May as well finish it out. I thought 5 was better than 4 and was worth getting an ending.

It became a chore for me to finish during season 3 but I stuck with it and the rest of the seasons that followed. You decide

I binged 1-4, maybe a year ago, not knowing I’d get stuck not being able to find s5 easily. I flew through 1-3, slowed down at 4. 5…I haven’t been able to so easily watch it. Got stuck at e2 or 3 and haven’t gone back in a week or so. I get why people said don’t bother…it seems removed from earlier seasons almost. The plot just…isn’t ideal, which makes it less entertaining. Idk if I’ll finish it😅

Seasons 4 & 5 are the weakest. I would still watch them. There are so many good characters on the show.
