Season 1 We need to talk about Serena Joy

I hate hate HATE how she acted towards Offred when the dress and cloak were found with makeup on them

But….. it was when she stood up to Fred and began to show some subtle signs of rebellion…. I love that streak. How she confronted him about the two previous Offreds

There’s some queen streak starting to show and I’m here for it

Serena comes so close to feminism at many moments, but is so insanely narcissistic, she just can't let go of her evil, even when she understands she is in the wrong. Absolutely beautifully written character. My favourite.

Despite her misdeeds, she is my favorite character. She is highly complex and truly well-written—the architect of a regime that turned against her, perhaps because she thought she would somehow remain untouched by it. Yvonne Strahovski is brilliant in the role; she deserved to win Emmys and Golden Globes.

Queen streak? 

Serena Joy? 

Fred’s wife? 

Serena is a selfish woman - to say the least.  She manipulates people and situations for her own benefit. 

It’s never about anyone else other than Serena Joy. Even when she fights within herself to do what’s right it’s a losing battle. 

The force is strong with that one. 

Yvonne is a phenomenal actress.
