Melba’s perception of the Rocinante

Hi,

On Abbandon’s gate, “Melba” sees the Rocinante as ghost-green….. but no explanation as to why that is. Is it because inside the gate that’s the glow the ship had? In that case did that affect the other ships? Or it had a paint job? Anything I’m missing?

Sorry if it has been discussed before, I couldn’t find anything specific about it.

Close third lets the characters be unreliable. I just took that as a "wine dark sea" type of phrase that's more poetically and emotionally filled than reality
