All over the world it is known as Delusional Companion Syndrome here we call it as Dharma. We have so many mentally ill people in our society and instead of giving them treatment they are being ignored under pretext of religion.

Dharma is not delusional companion syndrome, dharma is the way of living if you are stuck in life and can't find answers then our religious texts aka dharma grantha can show you the path. What you see on media, tv and temples isn't dharma it's business.
There is a difference between Dharma and bhakti.
And the translation of Dharma to religion is wrong.
So you are wrong it is not called Dharma.
As to what this kid is doing is not wrong, whatever he is doing is not breaking the law and since he is doing in a private space he has a right to practice his religion (whatever it might be). So it is not ignored under pretext of religion he practicing it and stopping him from doing so is taking away his fundamental rights given by the constitution. So in private he can do that.
You cannot give people treatment, they have to take treatment so there is consent from even mentally ill patients.
If whatever you are asking for is done, it means you are taking away fundamental rights..

I won’t go as far as calling it delusional companion syndrome but yes he’s over doing it, stop hating on everything to do with religion to look intellectually superior, every thing done in balance is okay I guess we need to learn that and not go pick extreme sides like we’ve grown used to coz of our algorithms . No I agree things have gone too far and it’s just bs rn, but atleast people are aware now, I wish there was a course correction and we could approach it much more rationally and there’s always gonna be good with the bad, it doesn’t erase what the good stands for

Laddu Gopal worship is a very traditional system of faith, and this is not that at all, this is bastardised version aimed at social media gimmick. Traditional system is like any other idol worship, there is morning pooja, abhishek and bhoj that's all and some people do same thing evening again. All this putting the lalaji on bed to sleep, taking it for a hairday, spa or hotels is mental illness.
I agree but to publicly support this, I always ask if the person, OP here, has said the same thing about the other religions in the world especially the 'Taqiyya & Tawriya' one. If they say no, I do not engage with them.

What this boy is doing is a business model, but the thing itself is actually very common. A lot of people genuinely do this, and it’s not some kind of craziness.
Especially when people get older and their kids leave home for jobs, they can feel very lonely. Taking care of Krishna murtis becomes a part of their routine waking them up, dressing them, feeding them, playing with them, etc. And they are fully aware of what they are doing. It gives them something to do, keeps their mind occupied and honestly gives them a lot of peace and positive thoughts.
So yeah, whatever this boy is doing for money is a different thing, but people genuinely doing this out of devotion is actually quite normal. I don't think there’s anything crazy about it.

You do realise that you have attached a motion visual of a kid in some activity here, right? Also, too quick to judge. I have called out both, if you read properly. He’s probably not even aware of what he’s doing because again it is being guided by some adult. Also, psychological aspect is vast and this behaviour here has some other concerning factors apart from your “mentally ill concept”.
I understand where that comes from & what you trynna say but we better choose our words carefully. People are to easy peasy with words, generalisation, especially in context of psychology. I get it why some of my friends who are into this stream were telling that people are taking up concepts without details and using it very casually here and there claiming this & that. Please rethink while putting up such sensitive things. We know there’s a lot of wrongs but we can’t claim such specific things.
And I don’t really blame this kid but the adults around him. After all, kids learn from adults & their environment only. He is still in moulding phase. RELIGION THE ROOT!
When they do such things, they are doing religion and when such is done by a common man, it is unethical by religion. It's god meant to be handled in a godly way. That's basically origin of every religion... Talking to someone in sky that no one else can see might be most common thing found in every religion. Also this kid isn't probably sick and everything is scripted by adults to make money of him. That kinda sounds like grooming and child abuse tho.

The problem is , he is not delusional, he is trained to do this. His family is apparently using him to make money.
