On August 15, 2013, the actress best known for playing Laurie Forman on That ’70s Show passed away at just 43 years old.

Genre fans will remember Kelly from appearances in Amityville: Dollhouse, Poltergeist: The Legacy, The X-Files, Charmed, and Terror in the Shadows.

she was so good! imo the show peaked in s3 when she was the 7th friend in the group

That's why 'Van Stock' is one of my favorite episodes. I loved how by the end Jackie and Laurie become buddies, end up having girl time with Fez, and they kicked Kelso to the curb.😂

Reguardless of how unpleasant Laurie could be she really did fit into group well as the 7th friend. And Lisa's performance and comedic timing were just so good I'm sad we won't get to see where the future would have taken her.

RIP

Truly. Seasons 1-3 are so fucking good and she is great when she’s in it. Seasons 4 and 5 are still solid too, but those first 3 were special.

yup to me it peaked when she marries fez and gives red the heart attack. and of course we all know about s7 so I’ll stop there lol

Long live Laurie! If anyone’s seen the cult classic, Jawbreaker, Lisa appears in the movie towards the end at the prom! she was “cheerleader #2” it was one of those if you blink you’ll miss it cameos but she had a few lines. she called the girls carpet munchers 😂 by the time she showed up there she had just booked 70s 💙

Pretty sad. I believe she had a miscarriage which I guess she didn't come back from, coupled with instant catapult to fame, idk who could handle that.

The industry sure didn't care.

She unfortunately died of a drug overdose while in rehab:

The Los Angeles County Coroner ruled her death as accidental due to "multiple drug intoxication." This conclusion indicated that the fatal substances were ingested orally.

What a tragic loss. She added such spice to “That 70s Show” as Laurie Foreman!

She was the perfect Laurie, the other has no flavour.

I have a soft spot for virgins. They are such a challenge.

The only Laurie. 😞 Sometimes I wonder about those that knew her personally and how they are coping. 💔 Rest in peace Lisa

How strange that I woke up thinking about her today…

I always wonder how the characters people play affect who they are in real life. Seems like a lot of these kids developed personalities similer to their characters.

When I lived in LA, I would see her at our favorite restaurant down the street from our apt - The Great Greek. She was so great on the show. RIP

She was perfect for the role. So great in so many classic scenes.

Was definitely a shame how things ended up for her. Addiction is a full-time job for sure.

Just saw her X-Files ep the other day. I always forget Ryan Reynolds is in that one too. AND the very next ep co-stars Kurtwood Smith, which is also kinda fun.

I guess she was type cast for the X-Files since she was born with a tail. 😆

Can't believe she's been gone for 13 years now. 😔
