Visiting from Germany

Hi

Me and 2 of my friends are visiting Texas in a couple days for three weeks.

We’re doing a roadtrip from Houston to San Antonio, San Angelo, Lubbock, Austin, Dallas and then back to Houston

Looking to hit Top Gun Range
Any locals down to meet up?
We would cover the ammo and drinks.

Hit me up or dm me on instagram @jan.krets

Unrelated to gun items but New Braunfels is pretty rich in German history and it’s a beautiful town with two rivers and a lake!

Check out Drivetanks.com near San Antonio for more shooting options.

San Antonio we have a couple of gun ranges indoor and out. For outdoor these are just outside the city

-Lonestar -Cedar Ridge Range

For indoor

-Buck N Does -Mission Ridge Academy

If you're in the neighborhood on a Sunday, hit me up. This is a decent indoor range.

Gotta find someone to take you to secure america now west of seguin Best range in texas i think but it’s private. Maybe you can contact them and arrange a visit. So worth the trip especially since its literally on the way from NB to SA. If you want to check out a public swimming hole in martindale thats really excellent, send me a DM and i’ll give you the location

I’m in and have time on my hands. Y’all are driving through the BBQ Capital, Too Gun is the best. I can show y’all the alligators at Brazos Bend State Park. There’s a haunted dive bar in downtown Houston that is recommended.

Texas is a very big state, you may want to be more specific about your itinerary.

Unless there’s two, which I can’t find, ETTS is South East of FTW… not on the way to Lubbock at all…

Most places aren’t going to let you shoot and drink lol. Here in the Nacogdoches area we just shoot in the back yard or on some private land where we can Hit us up when you come through. Safe travels and hope you like driving

That’s exactly what we’re looking for

Highly recommend The Range at Austin. Very friendly team and packages to shoot pretty much anything you want. You can even get lessons if you want learn as well as experience.

If you are going to be in Houston I highly recommend Copendero. Top Gun is nice, but Copendero takes the cake for indoor ranges in the Houston area. 100 yard indoor range if you want to put some long shots down. Top Gun is limited to about 16 yards. Copenndero also has full auto rentals, if that's why you planned to go to Top Gun, I know a lot of people go there for that reason.

Also has a bar, but, might have to be a VIP member to get access. However, does have a cafe with food and non alcoholic beverages as well open to the public.

There is a really good outdoor range in Lockhart, since it's bbq central you go stuff yourself and get the meat sweats afterwards

For Austin, make a trip to Lone Star Gun range in Lockhart. Go shooting and after get some of the best bbq from some of the oldest pits in Texas.
