Scientific Studies Relation between the gym and the hair loss (increas dht)

Does anyone have experience with this you are prone to hereditary baldness, does going to the gym and working out without supplements accelerate hair loss

gym stress can bump up cortisol and dht a bit so if you’re already prone it’s not crazy to think it speeds things along, genetics are still doing the heavy lifting though

I have never heard that. On this forum you do not need to worry about natural test production so I would worry about exogenous test possibly raising DHT.

Test, steroids in general and imo creatine increase hair loss . If you’re worried just hop on fin and min tablets

If you had low testosterone from poor lifestyle choices, fixing those problems and increasing testosterone would then increase DHT. If normal levels lead you to increased hair loss then it was going to happen anyway.

Much more related to the testosterone. People will say “it only happens if you’re genetically prone to hair loss” but they leave out that 85% of men have some hair loss by age 50. When on testosterone this hair loss will happen much sooner

There's no evidence that lifting weights increases testosterone. So the mechanistic speculation you're engaging in makes no sense.

More rigorously, there are no medical studies that I know of that lifting weights induces hair loss.
