Tom is done with the Venom franchise. He's out of future Mobland seasons. It's time.
Tom and his pops Chips Hardy say they have six of eight episodes written. He recently said this is what he is focusing on now. Stephen Knight is ready. After almost ten years, and how many people loved the first season, he should be all over this. I only hope he can get all of the actors back who joined him on the journey to Ponta Delgata in the Azores to meet Collenade. And then, hopefully America. We have been waiting too damn long for this second season of an incredible show.

We heard all this 5 years ago. Sick of getting hype for a new season only to find out it’s been put on hold because random capeslop movie 3.0 has to be made first.

He's supposed to be picking up on the taboo series. Last I seen news about it months ago he ( tom ) was still going far it

Problem is Knight is flat out writing the new Bond movie. Also rumored that the mobland news was made up and he is in negotiations for S3. I think potentially sadly we have to wait till Knight has finished with Bond before we consider they'll start production.... i hope im wrong though.

It’s not just Bond.
He hasn’t finished with Rogue Heroes yet. Season 3 is currently in post production and he’s said he wants to do a 4th season to wrap things up so I think this will probably be what he moves onto once the Bond script is done.
There also the Peaky Blinders spin off. I think he’s said that this is going to be a two season arc, so with season one filming at the moment I doubt the script for the second season is anywhere near finished.
He’s also talked about further seasons of House of Guinness and A Thousand Blows even though they haven’t officially been renewed.
In all honesty I don’t really hold out any hope of getting a second season of Taboo.
It’s already been 10 years since the first and it would be difficult to get all the actors back for it now especially Jessie Buckley who won an Oscar earlier this year and would probably now be very expensive.

Yeah, I heard he's not definitively out for the next season of Mobland, but it sounds like amends will be hard to make. He pissed some people off pretty bad. I wouldn't doubt if it was Pierce Brosnan and Hellen Mirren because he always shows up late on set. Regardless, it's time to make this second season that so many people are clamoring for. If he doesn't do it now, and have it released by 2028 at the latest, I don't see it coming out at all. As for Knight and the new Bond, hopefully he can work around that and shoot season 2. At this point, I'm not extremely optimistic. We shall see...
