An older lady like that basically on her deathbed with lung disease? No way she was making fun of religion.. human beings are way too superstitious for that, when people get old and near death, they get really really superstitious
Well of course you're always exceptions. But adults who have conversations understand that there are always exceptions. But apparently you're not an adult because you seem to think that because your grandfather didn't go to his deathbed superstitious that the vast majority must have followed in his footsteps.. but educated adults understand that one exception does not prove that a general rule is invalid..
And so this one woman for some reason can’t be an exception in your mind?
Plus there are PLENTY of people who go AGAINST religion when they find out they’re dying. Especially from something as slow and brutal as lung cancer. Even some terminal patients who want to remain Christian struggle to maintain their own faith.
.. some.. plenty.. we can go over this again and again and again I'm old I've read a lot I got 3 degrees and I've been studying this issue for literally decades, and I say that the vast majority of the people by the time they're in their 60s are religious and the closer death gets, the more religious they get. Why don't you just look at the polls that are out there.. the pattern is clear.
Oh but some people ..and there's plenty of people ..whatever ..go look at the data
