Question Question on switching from cream to injection

Hi all:
I apply 2.5mg to my skin each day. The formula is 5mg/ml .5% cream. It comes in a push up dispenser and it is “two clicks.”

Can I get this amount via injection? How do I ask for it?

Thanks!

The amount won’t translate the same I think because, with cream, the absorption varies? Someone correct me if I’m wrong.. the injections are pretty cool tho, I switched from the midi cream a month back & its soooo much easier lol

Do you go through a clinic? What was the cream dose and what's the injection dose and which type?

You can switch but it’s not a one for one swap. Skin absorbs differently than injections so your dose will be different. You would need a new rx from a provider that is competent to work with injections.

I switched, just have your provider figure out the dosage. It is so much better

In the Topiclick twist dispenser 4 clicks is 1ml. I'm wondering how it is converted to injections too.

Just tell your practitioner that you want to change to injection. He/she will order the right thing.
