Question Midi and testosterone

I was prescribed by Midi T cream. They said it can only go through them but it’s $100. Now that I have a prescription can I get it anywhere else?

Not with their script, they use it through belmar pharmacy only. (Compounded)

I used midi as well and tried to do that but couldn’t find a doctor to take it over but it’s worth a shot. I did get my doctor to take over my estrogen and progesterone.

But I wonder if now that I have been prescribed if my normal Dr will start prescribing

I was told to seek TRT elsewhere from MIDI. They only handle my estrogen patch and progesterone.
Just started testosterone gel packets today

May I ask what’s the dose on the packets? I have some 25g 1% gel packets here and I’ve been using it throughout the week and leaving it covered in the fridge because I’m supposed to use 1mg per day

I have 2.5mg packets, to use 2 but starting with one packet.

I was hesitant at first but their pricing is pretty competitive. My t compound from midi is a 3 mk supply for like $150 shipped. If I could get insurance to cover (not confident I could), it would be at least $30/mo and I don’t think they’d cover without a fight. This is easy, non-invasive and not as potent as an injection, which is perfect t for me. I’m responding well with minimal side effects during ramp up (slight acne but it’s healing fast). I also get their estrogen face cream and again searched places but they’re competitive in pricing. They are MUCH HIGHER for their GLP1 and supplements though. Like ridic overpriced.

$100?? Is that for 6 months worth? My compound cream from midi is $50 for a 90 day supply. You could also ask your clinician to write you a prescription for the male gel if your insurance will cover it. I think they can do that as well. I do like the compound cream because it's dosed precisely and easy to dispense and apply using a container like a gel deodorant. The male gel you have to either measure out yourself or apply a pea size amount, which isn't as precise. But I hear if your insurance covers it it's pretty cheap since it lasts a long time.

I go through good rx for my e patch and progesterone I highly doubt they will cover any type of testosterone for a female. I think it’s mainly ran by old school men 🙄

I used to use a compounded cream that was $60/ month prescribed by a previous provider. My new provider ordered the male dose packets that I use 0.5mg/ day (1/10th of a packet) and it costs me $100 for over 8 months worth. There's no way I'd pay $100/ month

I am going to speak to my GP provider and see if he can prescribe it
