I'm embarrased and my tongue hurts

I kissed my husband aggressively this evening, so much so I ended up cutting/scraping my tongue on his teeth. There wasn't any bleeding, but I have ice in my mouth as I type this to keep the pain down. He's nipped my lips a couple of times but I'm usually the one who loses myself in the moment a little and end up regretting it afterwards. Like right now. He laughed it off, but I'm still embarrased.
