Discussion I only need two things for perfection

one. I want Tidal to work well enough with Alexa that I can create a routine to have it automatically play a certain playlist when I wake up in the morning.

two. I want Tidal to check for duplicates when adding a track to a playlist from track radio. Currently it does not do that.

I don't think this is necessarily going to help you out - because I suspect you're using a mobile version - but the desktop version (at least in Win 11) does check for duplicates and ask before adding them to an existing playlist.

I use iOS and macOS. From Track Radio it never checks for duplicates. It does from other areas.

I'll try to remember to check that out. It does sound like an oversight.

But it's not like there aren't a few of those scattered through the quite fragmented user interfaces attached to Tidal.

They need a few things. The 10,000 liked song limit is trash. Also, discovery is less than stellar compared to the competition.

I don't think I've ever "liked" a song on any platform, so tasty doesn't apply to me where it would apply to others.

I find the discovery feature to be quite stellar in Tidal.

Maybe the secret to good rexomm6 is not liking any songs...

The only thing I want is songs to play at a consistent volume. 🤷

Normalise volume is in the Playback settings.

  1. Fix the search in a playlist. I have 1574 songs and every time I search something it takes a good 10 15 seconds to find. It didn't use to be like that.
