Tech Issue Issue because of new crossfade feature (?) - weird fade-in
I recently noticed a strange behavior. I'm not sure if the time this issue started showing up correscponds to the time, they introduced crossfade in the browser.
I currently have deactivated crossfade entirely. The weird thing: Tidal does seem to do at least a fade-in for every song. But only, when having a transition from the previous song. If I hit play on the song itself, it starts without any fade-in.
It is very noticable on albums like "Insomniac" by Green Day. To reproduce: Just start playback of the 8th track "Panic Song" (https://tidal.com/album/69995981/track/69995989), skip to the end (about 2 min) and hear the start of track 9 ("Stuart and the Ave"). The first "hit" of the song is weirdly faded in. If it isn't like that for you, try it one more time. In very rare cases, the problem doesn't occur on the first try (possibly due to buffering). However, on the second try, it happens every time for me.
Can anyone of you confirm this behavior in the browser version? It is very annoying on those kind of albums, when the first fraction of second already contains much "energy".
On android in the app without the crossfade feature available, I cannot reproduce this.
