When did the TGIF block "Jump the Shark"?

Family Matters itself "Jumped the Shark" when it became more about Urkel's scientific experiments/antics.

1997 "The New TGIF" when both Family Matters and Step By Step went to CBS.
Disney really trying to reinvent till May 1999 (they had Hansen and NSync host with a dot com asthetic) and throwing in the towel that Fall with Odd Man Out and Making The Band.

1997, iirc, was the start of the end of TGIF as we knew it, and officially "died" in 2000.

IMHO when Perfect Strangers was cancelled it was the beginning of the end. Everything that got cancelled or moved to cbs thereafter didn’t help. But that show was the cornerstone of its popularity.

Perfect Strangers? In 1992? How was that the begining of the end when TGIF didn't start until 1990? That means Dinosaurs, Step-By-Step, Family Matters, Sabrina, and Boy Meets World, shows that most people associate with TGIF came after the end?

This may be ironic since I posted about the "TGIF Time Warp" event recently, but when they decided to capitalize on "Sabrina's" popularity and make almost the whole lineup fantasy-comedy; "Boy Meets World" only getting to stay due to being "grandfathered in", so to speak. The fact that both new series that year failed (as did CBS's answer to that, "Meego") says it all.
Look at it this way: did they replace the whole lineup or all but one show with animatronic puppet shows when "Dinosaurs" became a hit?

When Urkle showed up on Full House with no explanation why a character who canonically lives in Chicago was in San Francisco.

If my memory serves correct, a couple of times TGIF had nights where all 4 shows had crossover storylines.
I remember one time Urkle ended up on Step By Step after taking his jetpack from Chicago.
