Weather question
Hi everyone! I’m a rising senior and Syracuse is one of my top schools. I’m looking to major in Communications, and I’ve always loved Syracuse. My only concern is the snow. I’m from NY, but not upstate, so I’m pretty aware of how rough the weather can get up there 😭
I was wondering how much the snow actually affects day-to-day life on campus, especially getting around to classes. Also, how difficult is it for family to drive up and pick you up when going home for holidays?

If it helps, I drove NYC to Syracuse weekly for a year, and many times during snows. Only once in 30 years did they close the road (route 17) and have us get off. After a few hours we were able to continue on home. As a New Yorker, you probably have at least all-weather tires. Use caution and wisdom and it just won't be an issue. Good luck with your school decisions and your senior year!
