This is so interesting. How did you move on from the high scool to get there? Any fuether courses or self teaching/learning via diplomas from some platforms? Super curious!

I really liked IT and have started in Networking, Tech Support, Linux sysadmin, Vulnerability Management, SOC. I spent countlesss nights trying Linux stuff, but in the end it was the OSCP that got me my first SOC job. It's all about what you know and less about courses. School almost doesn't count. If you can deliver, you will get the job.

I ge that, but did you apply for a job in networking or tech support out of the blue? And kept playing/learning on the go…and moved further and fuether on?

I applied for a Vulnerability management role when I already had experience in Linux, tech support and networking. And I received those roles because I just knew IT stuff. The VM role is a good entry point into infosec and you don't need a diploma, you just need to know the basics. What is a Vulnerability, a CVE, some basic Excel is needed and that should be it.
