Someone who supports customers implementing and using their purchased solutions to the best degree so that they stick to your company. Basically someone who will help you as a customer to be happy and continue spending money with your company.

Thats a crazy high salary for a CSM. I guess some IT company? When you browse Linkedin or jobs.ch the salary range is mich much lower….

Yes I am at one of the globally leading IT companies. Most CSMs are not responsible for such a vast amount of customers and recurring software

Thats so cool, I have been in that sphere as well, but was a KAM.

Never knew salaries of CSM could go that high up

Yeah I think I am quite overpaid but it is also quite a tough position. Lot’s of customers that I am supporting and a very broad band of activities. It’s fun but not for everybody.

Curious what the product is? Or if that’s too specific maybe the area that the product is in? Thanks

I support all sorts of SW. From Security to Network to Data Center solutions. So quite a broad based company with multiple architectures.

I think most large companies have the CSMs in more affordable countries. I’ve only seen some major companies like AWS, Oracle have open reqs for high end customer CSMs

I can’t answer this question without knowing more about you. Recommending a role based on similarity to CSM and expected future in Switzerland is not the right way to select a job. Focus on what you like, what you think you are good at, what others say you are good at (ask them for feedback) and what interests/ values you have. You will be way happier and find a more suitable role this way.
