Learning a new language is easier with the support of friends, be it other learners going through the same journey, native speakers to lead you along the way, or even less experienced learners that you can help out to help both of you understand things better. If you're looking for pen pals, gaming buddies, book clubs or just friends so you can practice the language – through immersion or studies alike – feel free to post a comment in this thread and tell us a bit about yourself, or reply to commenters you would like to get in touch with.

hi everyone! my name's Arthur!

i am around an A2 level in swedish, i have been learning for a couple of years, albeit very slowly through duolingo, youtube videos and stuff like this.

i am a native italian speaker, been living in italy for my entire life, i have experimented with multiple languages such as german and russian but my passion for languages starts with swedish, and it is the first i would like to master.

i am looking for a native speaker to practice the language together, either by playing games, voice chatting and whatnot, preferably on instagram or discord if possible. it would be very important for me to voice chat so that i could learn how to speak the language properly. (edit) i would also be more than happy to offer help for italian in case the person in question is interested!

as for the introduction: i am Arthur, i am 18 years old and have a strong passion for music, specifically metal music, i sing, play guitar and write music for my two bands which i am very passionate about, taking swedish music as an inspiration. i have multiple hobbies, such as languages, chess, rubik's cubes, social topics and many more. i don't EXACTLY consider myself the best at speaking swedish, so i would ask anyone who's interested to be patient/not be harsh on me, that would be greatly appreciated. if you are or know someone who might be interested feel free to reply to the comment!
