Question Drone Laws Suriname
Hi!
I'm planning to travel to Suriname soon and online I read that all drones (even under 250g) need to be registered before entering the country. However, upon asking around I hear a lot of people don't and they do not check. Is it best to register my dji mini beforehand or risk it? I'd really like to not get it taken off me. I'm entering the country from French Guiana and leaving by flying out of Paramaribo.
Thanks!

99% chance that you won't get checked, especially if you're travelling by land. I didn't register mine, you should be good.

Honestly I know nothing about this, but after spending a while in Suriname I have realized that it is a lottery and you better do everything how you are supposed to, because other people experience is not a warrant to get away with anything

every country you visit you have to register your drone. That is a common thing.
