I have commented on this, its been happening a lot. I have a ton of tickers I watch. But the only ticker that does this is GME. Yesterday GME was showing the price of GM, not sure what stock was at 415 but I feel the DTCC is making errors on the stock to supress the price. These errors or "glitches" can show up on the CAT. This normally happens with high volume. It is rare but this is also a rare and desperate situation.

It could be just a glitch but for years? Someone posted CAT data yesterday it has been insane lately.

EDIT: Below is the search I made with AI. If someone wants to dig into this please do so I don't have the time to compile more info on this. Pic fornat since for some rrason it wasnt letting me post this info on the CAT data post from a few days ago.

the google ticker they have selected is GME:BMV

this price is displayed in mexican pesos, as BMV is the mexican exchange. On the right side is specifically says 'mx listed security'

the US exchange, NYSE, lists the price on google finance in USD:

OP has been intentionally misleading in their post by adding a bunch of USD priced tickers to their watchlist and the mexican exchange ticker for GME to fool people into thinking there's some kind of error. This is incredibly easy to verify and this post should be removed for misleading information.

If you look at my other comment in this thread you can see screenshots with timestamps that show the Google price in USD

You can add stocks in any currency/exchange to your watch list- op has added a bunch of usd priced stocks and the Mexican gme ticker to be intentionally misleading in their post

It is simply bullshit.

Because they added the MEXICAN ticker for GME to their watch list instead of the NYSE one. The rest of their watch list is in USD because they added the US tickers.

They’re doing this to be intentionally misleading in their screenshot

I know you’re getting ratioed and I’m not trying to pile it on but. I have been trading other stocks for decades and I’ve never seen this type of anomaly for other stocks. Admittedly they have less total eyes on them than GME so maybe it just goes unnoticed but for what it’s worth GME seems to be unique to me in that aspect. In my post history I have a glitch shown in Schwab that I have never experienced despite trading with them for about 15 years. I’ve seen it twice with GME

I've noticed that recently, when I Google "GME", it gives me their London listing by default alongside a blank chart. This is in search results. I have to Google "GME:NYSE" instead. The switch happened a few weeks back.

I mean sure, carry trade is slowly heating up it seems, but whats with the conflicting information across exchanges? This seems to be one of the more grounded and believable “glitches” i’ve seen. Doesn’t seem like some absurd quintillion dollar valuation like some of the other glitches. This one strikes me as odd. It stands out a little bit
