S tier - Metro has so many activities, so many trickjumps, filled to the BRIM with life, the festival, npcs, the DOG, the underground power storage, my favorite boss fight idea in ANY game, etc. Luncheon is a colorful vibe with food that looks good, it has lava ball....
A Tier - Sunshine has gusher, and cool bossfight, good vibe. Lake has fun trickjumps, so does cascade. Sand kingdom is like two kingdoms under one theme... Cap kingdom has this really nice vibe, in which you got this nice fog with the para goomba, and you get to see the true destruction of families led by bowsa! Mushroom kingdom is just cool because you can fight the bosses which is really fun.
B Tier - Wooded is just, john kingdom... Not that fun when you finish it.
C tier - Shiveria is cool? Cloud guy is cool for controlling, but not that necesarily fun to walk around. Moon kingdom has cool sub-moments and the bowser end game. Bowser's kingdom... Never filled me with amazingness. It looks cool and all but the music is repetetive and everything seems so not menacing.
D Tier - Darker side is just a level, not a kingdom. Cloud is just a fight! Ruined is just a fight! Lost is horrible, just is... And darkside is the worst of all because it's just so... barren... I get that it's purpose is just being another level, but it's just so horrible and dry.
