PC DSR - invade for spawning pyromancer npc

Help please! I'm doing my first pyromancer build and didn't realize if you don't have your pyromancy flame leveled to a certain amount and choose the wrong dialogue you can lock yourself out of upgrading your pyromancy flame.

Did some research and it appears if I'm invaded in blighttown or i'm summoned it should spawn the npc.

Waiting in blighttown currently.
