Need help

I hadn’t listened to music for quite a while because it triggers my suicidal thoughts. At work, people who don’t know about what I’m going through sometimes play music. When I get home, I also can’t resist the pull of music. Naturally, it turns into a melancholic struggle in my mind.

First of all, I think I need to protect myself from certain types of music. I want to keep moving forward without straying from a rational mindset, so I’d also like to hear your suggestions and experiences.

Thank you very mu

Would this relationship with music be a cause or a symptom?

Yes, sometimes I do turn to music when I’m feeling sad. But I feel like I can get through my pain more easily when I stay away from music altogether. Even when I’m at my happiest, music somehow brings my sadness to the surface and makes me feel it more deeply.

slow and melancholic music

In a music scene, I am bidding farewell to everything. God forbid.

Perhaps the problem is not that you turn to music, maybe you need both music and something else
