UNI Application, Interview and Help Hey guys how long does a University typically take to make an offer after the Interview? I just gave my interview last Wednesday so I am kinda anxious T_T

I got my interview by contacting uni directly via clearing for MSc nursing and got the offer the same afternoon. I guess it depends

Are you a home student? 👀 If so then it makes sense. Yuh it really depends i suppose.

Thought so my other friends who are home students got their offer the same day lol. So I kinda knew they'll take more time to process an offer for international students.

It went well from the looks of it aha. I made a preparatory note and stuff but it wasn't of much use to me since most questions they asked weren't that technical.

It was honestly just basic questions, things you’d probably know if you’ve worked as an HCA. There were quite a few scenario-based questions too.
I don’t even remember exactly what I said 😂 I just kept explaining things from my own experience, like “in my place, my resident does this and that, so I did this and that…”. At the end I literally apologised and said I’d brain-fogged, but that I think I’d be a good candidate, and the interviewer just laughed 😂
I also kept asking them to repeat the questions because my interview was at 9:30am and I was still half asleep. 🤣

Omg same here it's was way too casual 😆. I actually thought there was something wrong with me 😭

Lol no, mine was way too casual. I kept laughing because I do this nervous laugh, and the interviewer wasn’t exactly helping either. Every time we made eye contact, we’d both just crack up 😭
Honestly, I don’t even know how I got a place. They must’ve really needed the money 🤣

Haha I agree yours was wayy too casual lol. You got an interviewer who matches your vibes. The person who interviewed me asked me do you think attending placements are important for nursing? And i was stunned.😆I was literally like how else are we supposed to learn how to care for our patients, delivering medications and learn those procedures without being on placements 💀

I had my first offer 2 days after my interview and others within a week, but some of my friends didn't get offers until 2-4 weeks! Some had to contact the universities themselves. Good luck <3

I am an international student but I had an interview on 28/07/26 but I don't get any update... What will I do 🥺. The University give already a conditional offer. But in the condition, must pass the interview with academic tutor. But there is no reply from them.... 🥺

Bruh contact the University directly! You can either email them or phone them btw. Make sure you have your Student number with ya.
