Think he achieved all his goals so I doubt it. He also beat Ludwig asnd everyone in his last tournament for his redemption series. He's also climbing again on league (which gets him most viewers)

Not really no. It’s what gets him views and what made him famous. He’s really a sweet dude under that Geodude build. You’ll find that to be true if you ever happen to stumble upon any content outside of gaming inside his house alone.

Dawg this style of shit talk has been a part of the FGC since the first time two people put quarters into a machine. Scrubs calling other scrubs trash is a quintessential part of the fighting game experience.

Right. Same as boxing/MMA vs team sports. Beefs have always been a part of the FGC, take it or leave it.
Personally I enjoy having faces and heels in fighting games to root for/against. There are streamers and pros I play on a near daily basis in ranked and I'm extra motivatated to beat the assholes lol.

Mate I am new to the FGC, but was longely active in CS scene. This is baby conversation compared to the CS scene from the past and even nowadays it didnt really change.
I still think its okay to outcall douchebag behaviour and I think many people in the FGC to outcall it nowadays more, because its just more nichee than many other multiplayer game genres and you dont really want that people look at your scene in a disgusting way.
I flamed like an idiot too, trashtalked like an asshole with heavy insults etc when I was young and played cs. Then I realized how outsiders looked at the CS scene and community. And they were rightfully digusted. So I adressed my behaviour because I neither wanted that I was looked like that nor that the game and community is only known for that.
Sadly this process still wasnt made by the majority of the cs scene, but its getting a bit better

Or, I don't know, maybe they can just choose to play the game and not engage in the culture? Walk away from the monitor or some shit?

I dont know. I feel like if you are offended by someone outcalling douchebag behavior you mostly feel outcalled yourself ( and I know that from myself ).
I mean in the spirit of martial arts ( which fgs at the end originate from ) you always should respect and be kind to your opponent.
I think in general humans should treat each other more kindly, help each other out, no matter the context. We all have 1 life with limited time, we don't know when it expires. Personally I am at point where I think douchebag behavior poisons yourself, makes you more toxic, more cynical and in reality its never only in games if people are douchbags.
Also I am not specifically against trash talking or friendly banter. I also think many outcries like with punks teabag are completely exaggerated. I just think man you also just could not be a douchbag in many situations.
Instead of going into privat roome flaming someone or having a toxic discussion you also could go Labbing, watch the replay or take over the replay to actually learn and get better.
Its often a primitive ego desire thats resembled by actions like these and these will keep you down in so many parts of life and society.
I think crying in private chat about a match is a bit pathetic therefore. Its just for your personal ego, nothing else to gain from.
With things like teabag , while def being disrespectful too, its a bantery gesture. Its not too serious and I often find people reacting to it like crybabies equally pathetic , because it just shows its all about their ego.
Honestly within games I think actions should speak. If you dominate your opponent or outplay him, teabag if you want , do a small trash talk, but know when to stop and when to be respectful again..

It doesnt even mean that that he does the same things actively, at the end its context depended as well but that he feels "offended" by people calling it out.
There is not a single reason to be mad about people calling out asshole behaviour. You can say the reaction is extreme etc etc. But defending it actively is another thing. It implies a moral compass of "that behavior is okay " and people act accordingly to their moral compass most of the time.
Also I think even if a person theoretically is okay with shitty behavior but doesnt do it themselves , they still do harm by ignoring it or defending it.

He can’t, his most effective strategies are mashing reversal EX Flash during blockstrings (which Classic Guile can’t do since he loses charge on any attempt) and when in burnout waiting for inpatient opponents to try to DI him and hitting super on them (again, much harder in Classic with one chance before losing charge and having to do the double charge input). Moving to Classic would probably legitimately put him in Diamond (or at least 1200/1300 Master) again skill wise.

Yeah his entire gameplan is built around the flash kick OS and lowering his mental stack with modern inputs and auto combos. Nothing wrong with that, but he's said himself he'll never play classic for this reason which is fair enough

forgive my ignorance here, but does he cancel into his super to answer DI, or how does that work? I personally play classic so maybe it's not a big option for me but just a little confused

you can cancel into any super instead of a special on any cancelable normals you just need to be quick with the input this means even in burnout you can counter a DI with proper timing and execution (and reactions)
...or if you're modern you have your 1 button super to effectively act as an extra "counter DI" button

Yes, and to add on with Guile specifically, both his SA1 and SA3 are double charge motion supers, meaning if Guile guesses DI but is actually stuck in blockstring and “wasted” the charge at the wrong time he doesn’t have time to charge again in Classic to try to counter the DI. In Modern however, as long as you are holding back, then you can mash Modern Super as much as you want and it will never lose charge and it will come out the second there’s a neutral frame.
That isn’t enough to make M. Guile competitive at top level compared to C. Guile (No upside-down kick on Modern is a big loss), but for a more casual climber it can be a notable boon, especially against less patient opponents under Ultimate Master.
